I was really impressed to have a small family owned Italian restaurant in my neighborhood. When you first walk in you are greeted immediately by the host and the friendly staff. The restaurant itself is small and cozy decorated in old family photos along the wall. The reason as to why I went to eat at this place is because my girlfriend bought a pizza pie about two weeks ago and I was blown away as it reminded of good New York pizza. I went ahead and ordered a chicken Alfredo meal and I was expecting something delicious as it was one of the most expensive items on the menu($ 16.50) but I was not impressed whatsoever at what came out of the kitchen. The pasta itself was just right and the Sauce was perfect. The one things that blew my mind was the chicken as it looked like«Perdue Carved chicken breast» that you can buy at a super market. The chicken was gummy and you can tell it was not an authentic piece of chicken breast. I’m sorry but this would probably be the last time that I’ll ever eat in at this place. I do not care how much I ever spend on food as long as it taste good and it if fresh. I will be back for the pizza but not for the pasta. In the end the service was good but I’m all about authenticity especially when it comes to eating at a local restaurant instead of a chain restaurant.(Ps: they do have 2 for 1 draft beers)

Meh… imo not what everybody else says is the best italian around. Mediocre sandwich I had the veal parm and not impressed. Very rude waitstaff. I won’t return.

Took the family and everyone was pleased. Sauce was tasty. Real Italian. Portions were just right and delicious. The calzone was the only item too big so be prepared to share. Will go back for more. Waitress was very nice especially to the kids though this place has a large senior citizen clientele

I wish I could say something good about this restaurant Piccola’s but I can’t. The food was awful. I ordered a personal size pizza… light sauce and pepperoni. Our friend ordered a large pizza with double sauce and double garlic. These are 2 separate bills but I also got double garlic. I couldn’t eat it. Tried giving it to my husband and he took one bite and said that it was gross. My husband ordered pasta with sausage for $ 10.75 but when the bill came it was $ 13.75. When asked why our snooty waitress Deanne said the fettuccini was a $ 3 upgrade. That sounds very unreasonable. Plus why wasn’t he told that when he chose that pasta? He said he wouldn’t have minded except it was the worst sauce he had ever had. He did not finish his meal either. My husband and my girlfriend ordered salads with oil and vinegar. They both said it tasted like pure wine vinegar. The waitress said she would charge me ½ price for the pizza and charged me $ 6.25. I think a personal size pizza is $ 7. Evidently she charged me extra for the garlic I didn’t want. When I complained and said it had garlic on it she said she noticed as soon as they gave it to her. Knowing I didn’t order garlic I feel she should have had a new one done after asking me if I would mind the garlic. My husband always tips at least 20% but gave her $ 2 and I thought he shouldn’t have given her anything. I wrote to Unilocal and they never acknowledged it so that is why I am complaining for everyone to see. We used to live in Italy and believe me the food there was awesome. Can’t believe they are still in business. the restaurant is Piccola on rte 54 in Wesley chapel, FL.

Well I was definitely the youngest person there besides the staff, but that’s normal around here. The ambiance in this place is horrible… The décor consists of old beer advertisements, family photos and maps. The was no music at first, then halfway through the meal the started playing a mix of torchsongs-from-the-60s-that-nobody-remembers. It had the general feel of an old-time funeral parlor. Now for the good: the food is fan-fucking-tastic! Chicken parm, wonderful and fresh caprese salad, homemade spaghetti marinara… It was all so delicious I got a boner. Then I ordered a cannoli that was so amazing that… Never mind. Service was fine and the girl was nice. If they decide to get rid of their«is it time to view the body now» ambiance, I’ll bump them up to four stars.

I had Lunch there today 3÷6÷2015 and it was really fabulous. I had the Caesar Salad(fresh and crunchy), Manicotti(freshly made and filled with a flavorful ricotta cheese, sauce was a bolognese with chunks of meat and very flavorful), Tiramisu was great(rich and creamy with great flavor accents). Service was good very attentive wait staff and a happy wait staff which added to the experience. Customers all raved about the food and they were all right. Thank you Piccola Italia for making this experience a wonderful one.

The fish this place had was delicious. Our waitress was bad. She took our order, delivered it, and avoided us the rest of the visit while she talked to everyone around us. Another waitress took our order for another serving of AYCE fish. A different person brought it to us. Then we had to quickly stop the original waitress for our check. Needless to say she did not get a big tip like we usually always give for good service.

A classic Italian restaurant, in a really small town. Pizzas are thin crust, flavorful, and big. Meatballs are delish, and sauce is authentically their own. Service is home’y. Expect small town friendly service and big homeade flavors. A must when visiting Zephyrhills, FL.

Parmigiana di melanzane, just delicious!!! Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and mozzarella was also delicious! Tiramisu, OMG, just perfect! In the other hand, the salad and the house vinaigrette were awful…

We may have found our new favorite spot for Date Night! Such a wonderful, family feel in this place. Smells delicious the moment you walk through the door. Staff was super knowlegeable about the menu and specials. Prices were great. Portions were perfect-not too big, not too small. They had wonderful specials on Draft Beer and Wine. Buy-1-Get-1? Yes, please! Homemade desserts are to die for. I dream about their canoli! lol This place has been here for as long as I can remember. It’s obvious that they are doing something right! I plan to go back again and again.

Just went to Piccola for dinner. Same great food and service. Only thing they have discontinued the creamy Italian dressing. Two of the older women has moved north to be with grandchildren.

If you were looking for an Italian restaurant and, at first, you think you’ve entered a nursing home, don’t be alarmed. This is the right place. It just so happens you share your love for authentic Italian food with hundreds of wrinkled snow birds — you know, the featherless ones that don’t fly but drive south for the winter. This place is a local’s favorite and secret. If you’ve never had a reason to visit Zephyrhills, FL before — and let’s be honest, who ever does — now you do. This place boasts huge flavor and handmade pastas. Once you’ve tasted freshly made pasta, the gates of Heaven will open. — Fettucine Alfredo: one of the best I’ve had. Fresh pasta, delish sauce — not too thick. My friend mentioned that she usually doesn’t eat the whole thing when she orders it. Well, I did. Excuse me! — Calamari Fritti: only $ 6.75 for fried calamari — good deal! — Canoli: I loooooove canolis. This one was good, but could have been better with some chocolate sauce and powered sugar on top. I’ll definitely be back!

Best Italian in Pasco, maybe everywhere. They have even won several local awards for best Italian/family dining, etc. in case you don’t want to take my word for it. The homemade fettuccine alfredo is awesome and my husband cannot get enough of their lasagna. We love this place even though the atmosphere is nothing fancy and the interior is a bit outdated. We always order the pasta e figoli soup and salad with house dressing with our meals. The house salad dressing is delish! If you enjoy Italian food you will enjoy eating here.

THE best eggplant parmesan EVER. A must try. The dining room is in great need of updating. The booths are terribly uncomfortable and old, which is the general vibe of the place and why I gave it a four but the food was fantastic.
