Overall, I have had an extremely bad experience with Sierra Nevada Appliance. My dishwasher stopped draining. I called, and Sierra Nevada replaced the drain pump and called it fixed. $ 200 and a week later… well, it was not fixed. The dishwasher still did not drain. Several times, I had the tech come back out and each time was told that my dishwasher was now fixed. This was never the case. Eventually, Sierra Nevada Appliance stopped returning my calls, and I gave up with the repair and just bought a new dishwasher.

Call someone else. The repairman showed up and was here literally 10 min when he called me downstairs to tell me that he couldn’t fix my dryer. It needed a new transmission/drive line, and that was too expensive and not worth it, better off buying a new one. He then told me I owed $ 75, for 10 minutes!!! WOW! I didn’t know appliance repairmen made more then Lawyers, WTF!!!

After being turned down by two other appliance repair shops when asking for help with our 1950’s O’Keefe and Merritt stove, we finally found Danny with Sierra Nevada Appliance Repair. Not only was he willing to work on our stove, but showed an appreciation and wealth of knowledge about antique stoves. He returned a week later with the replacement part,(as promised), and also worked on a few unrelated minor problems without us even asking! We had considered sending our stove to a refurbishing shop, which would have cost at least $ 1500. Through the conscientious and meticulous work by Danny, we have a beautiful working classic stove without having to ship it off and shell out hundreds of dollars. :-) Highly recommended.
