Best beach on Tahoe! Gotta try the fish tacos! Burgers and fries were great too. Good beer selection and friendly staff. Really the place has everything you need to have a great day at the beach! Rum — runner and Painkillers too!

When my husband and I were looking for wedding venues we knew right away when we saw this place it was it. The beach speaks for itself. The venue may seems a little too rustic on a regular day but they truly do clean it up and make it beautiful. Our wedding ended up being absolutely gorgeous and the sunset was incredible.
There were a few setbacks during the planning. The biggest thing was miscommunication about the costs. Especially with the shuttle. The shuttle is required but when we signed the contract they said it would be MUCH less than what it ended up being. They did allow me to book my own and gave me a discount on the ceremony which helped. There were some complications, but I believe that is to be expected when planning such a huge, important event.
Lyric was the one who helped us put it all together as things got closer to the big day and was reliable in communicating with me and making things work for us. In the end, things went very well and I can say that I would recommend this venue for a wedding especially since the scenery is beautiful and really does speak for itself. Also, it is on the more affordable end as far as Tahoe wedding venues go. Two thumbs up!

Great beach and marina just north of Round Hill. 10 for parking.
They have food, two bars boat and jet ski rentals, SUP, and a few other things.
Staff was great and friendly.
The area is sheltered and the water is calm

This was a beautiful beach and worth the $ 10 fee. We initially stopped at El Dorado beach which is great for pet lovers, but we were looking for something not so busy, which we found at Round Hill.
The beach is clean and the water was great. We rented the paddle boat and our girls had a blast.
The sand is not like regular sand grainy. It isn’t as fine but bigger graduals. One thing I could go without was the little bug/​gnats that flock to you. Maybe it was because of the weather. overcast off and on and it was suppose to rain later in the day.
Bar on the beach was great. We also ordered a quick snack. Great customer service… especially Wendy. She was such a sweetie to myself and my daughter. Ended up running into Wendy at Basecamp pizza that night. She took the time to come and say hi and since she was a regular there made sure we were taken care of, even checked in us a little later to see if our orders were taken. How sweet is that! Thank you so much Wendy! Your thoughtfulness reminded me that there are still good hearted people in the world.
We will definitely be back to Round Hill beach!

I went to this bar on the beach after driving around Lake Tahoe back and forth. This spot was the best to me. I really liked how close the bar was to the beach and the environment was beautiful. Only thing that sucked was they messed up my hamburger twice. The second time I was to hungry to wait for a third burger so I ate it. It was so spicy and gave me a heart burn. The first burger was the right burger but dang the burger was so pink and bleeding. That was not good to me at all. So I sent it back. Then they gave me the second burger which was completely different. Also they took way to long to cook a hamburger. I was almost three drinks in until they brought me food. Besides them messing up my order, the beach and bar was cool. I would recommend to come here. Just watch out when you order food. I’m sure it was an honest mistake. I will be back though and hopefully they get me the right hamburger with no heart burn lol.

I love this beach! Easy parking, not too busy and the staff is awesome. New favorite beach!

Went to Round Hill Pines Resort for the first time in about a decade. The price for day use is great — just $ 8. This includes use of the beach, heated pool and amenities. The snack bar is decent & not overpriced. The restrooms clean & the pool well maintained. The new bar on the beach looks nice. Plenty of rentals available — paddle boats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, jetskis, power boats as well as lake cruises. Beach wasn’t too crowded today & was clean. The resort is under new management and they are making improvements. We will definitely be back!

Under new management. New expanded food menu. Food service closes at 5pm. Employees were all helpful and friendly with distinctive tee shirts. All new paddle boats and SUP for rent. Entire area including bathrooms very clean. They expanded and improved the Tiki bar on the beach. Their Mojito’s are awesome. Round Hill Pines is the place to go for a great time on the beach at Lake Tahoe.

It is not that easy to find and we missed the turn the first time. Parking is $ 8 but ask your hotels for beach pass. Even if you have to pay parking, it is worth to park near by and I think after 630 is free. The beach doesn’t have fine sand and the water is very cold even during the warmest time of the summer day. It is just how Lake Tahoe is. The beach area near water has sand flys and flea… A lot of them so stay away from the wet sand. Other than that, it is a clean beach with bathroom and food service.

This beach is wonderful! It’s clean, has a cute little bar-​stand, and beautiful views. What else can you ask for?! Parking is $ 8 before 5pm, after that it’s free. You’re welcome ;)

This one of the best beach I ever been to. water is so clean as it felt like you are in Bahamas. I would def recommend this place. They also have restaurant and small alcohol stall on the beach and tables for picnic.

This is our new favorite hidden gem of South Shore. It was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel. We got a coupon for discounted parking and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beach. Very clean and relaxing beach. Their water sports rentals were much less than other beaches. Lots more trees on this beach too which gives you a much more secluded feel than it really is. We didn’t eat here but the burgers from the snack shack looked and smelled fantastic.

Awesome beach bar, plus the only one on the lake!!! Try the drink «Miami Vice»!

Very cute. We liked it a lot. However, I would recommend ONLY if you don’t mind extremely crowded and smaller beach. We were there on a Saturday in August, so I imagine it is much calmer during weekdays, as is most of the beaches on the lake of course. A Bar in the sand was a great idea, and made us feel like we were somewhere a little more tropical. Kind of resort-​ish feel. Liked! Oh, they need more restrooms, had to wait in line all three times I used it!
Also, although the drivers were charming, the golf cart ride was bumpy and since I had a kid on my lap and an ice chest between my feet, I couldn’t really hold on and almost fell out twice which scared the shucks out of me! He should not have let me take a kid on my lap but he wanted to pile us all in at once… kind of dangerous — a warning would have been good — you know — to avoid a potential lawsuit.

We parked on the side of the rode and walked in– you have to pay for a car. It’s so worth a trip to see this beach/​view. We wondered around the border … looking at CA and NV beaches, this one was the best view.
It was colder here though! There were no people. so it was kind of cool, but we brought blankets! This was early May and kind of cloudy– also it snowed the next day. However the day before was so sunny and beautiful– unpredictable but bring warm clothes just in case!

We were here to go on the Bleu Wave boat. It was great. The trip is totally worth it. It was a beautiful day, the lake was calm and clear. The guys working on the boat were really nice and helpful. On the boat you get two complimentary drinks, and then it’s a cash bar. They make good drinks. Some food is provided, but we still went to lunch later. The boat is intimate and can provide a completely different feel than some of the larger boats on the lake that provide tours.

I got married at Round Hill Pines Beach this past weekend. Given the absolutely gorgeous weather we had (80 degrees in October!), the location was perfect! Crystal clear water, clean sand, mountains and a blue sky gave the perfect backdrop. My fiancé’ and I booked the site via email exchange with Suzan and having never seen the site in person, we decided to drop by the day before our wedding to see how everything looked. Immediately we knew we made the right decision! We met Suzan and Frank who were very personable and got us even more excited for our big day. The ceremony was beautiful and our family and friends want to return in the summer to experience swimming there. We also look forward to returning next summer! Thank you RHP!

Wow was this a disappointment.
Having been to this beach many times in the past I was optimistic when the group I was with had arranged to have a dinner on a weeknight during the summer.
First the good stuff. It is a very nice little cove on Lake Tahoe with a lot of the amenities that people like. They have paddle boats to rent, powered water craft, a nice pier, and a Tahoe cruise to consider.
Now the concerns:
1) The cocktails (ranging from $ 7 — $ 10) were simply not worth it. I had a mojito and a rum runner, and I’ve had better at numerous other spots on the lake.
2) The food we were served (at $ 17 per person) was okay. We had a choice of three salads (traditional green salad, a Caesar, and a potato salad), but none of them had any unique flavor to them. The next course seemed like canned chili. Our protein choices were chicken and tri-​tip, and the chicken had little, if any, seasoning (but it was very juicy) and the tri-​tip had a nice glaze on it. We were able to help ourselves to water as a drink with the meal.
3) There were at least five people that were not part of our group that helped themselves to the food on our little buffet. Having the staff eat the extra food may be a common practice in the industry, but I’d suggest that they let the people who paid for the meal enjoy it for a while, allowing ample time for seconds, and then the staff can clear the food to the kitchen prior to enjoying the left overs.
So, sadly, this is a great beach, an average bar, and an average meal. It’s unlikely that I’d recommend this spot for anything more than the beach, as there are plenty of other beaches doing food and rum drinks better. I’m hoping this is was simply a bad day, and I’d love to read some better reviews.

Super Pretty!
I went for a wedding and it was a great location for a beach wedding. Gorgeous view of the mountains and water! Not to mention there is a bar! I am coming back in August and I would like to spend an entire day here.
The only thing someone could complain about is that you have to pay for parking, but it is only $ 8. Not a huge deal.

The beach was a little tricky to find, but it was so worth the search. The beach had everything my friends and I needed.
There’s an awesome little beach bar with an authentic thatch roof, just like the one in Mexico. The bartender was great, and gave us great deals on our drinks.
The food was perfect too. Burgers, salads, sandwiches, just the perfect food for what we were in the mood for.
Later, we all went jet skiing and parasailing. Later we found out the prices were about 15% less than everywhere else in South Lake Tahoe.
I will definently return to Round Hill Pines some day, and I would absolutely recomend it to anyone.
