I recently moved into town and was searching for a good dentist in the area. I came across Dr. Kitzrow online at She accepted my insurance and had a nice website so I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and x rays. Incidentally, Dr. Kitzrow also recently moved her practice to downtown(right next to the pizza hut). When I arrived, I was pleasantly surpised by the cleanliness of the outside office. There was even a couch and a gas fireplace in the office! The office staff was friendly and helpful. I waited only five minutes before I was called back. The dental hygienist, Bonnie, was also friendly and professional. She told me she has over 25 years experience in the business and by her ease in answering all my questions I believed her. She did a thorough job cleaning my teeth and even did gum measurements to make sure my gums had not receded. Dr. Kitzrow, like the rest of her staff, was also quite friendly and helpful. I specifically liked the fact that she was concerned about my wallet. I have one tooth that is likely a root canal and is not covered by my insurance and she suggested trying to fill the tooth with a solution she has that promotes cell growth in order to hopefully protect the nerve for several years or at least until I have an insurance that will cover the root canal. She also recommended a prescription whitening strip($ 35) over a mold of my teeth with a bleach solution($ 350) in order to save me money. I rarely give 5 stars though I do believe this is well deserved. My 5 star rating is based on the friendliness, cleanliness, care, and professionalism of this business. I highly recommend Dr. Kitzrow.
