Yogurt Bayou

Here’s a type of place that I didn’t think I would miss outside of a big city…
The now standard froyo store with the buy by weight froyo. It’s $ 0.45 per ounce here, which isn’t a bad price.
What blew me away were 2 things:
1 — It was über clean. I’m not used to froyo places not being sticky and having sprinkles and toppings strewn about…
2 — The flavors… sure they aren’t natural, but Salted Caramel Popcorn was truly created by the devil. Take froyo and make it taste like caramel popcorn? That’s just an evil design… I couldn’t get enough of it.
The other flavors: mint, cake batter, and root beer float were also great, but were seriously trumped by caramel corn… I’ve just never had it before and was waaaaay too blown away by it.
If you’re looking for a decent dessert place in the Baton Rouge area, you should go there…
