I work in old Yuma & live between Yuma & Somerton — no delivery there. I’ve purchased ready to bake pizza in grocery stores but they taste like frozen pizza. Papa Murphy’s are made fresh to order & bake easily and perfectly! We enjoy thin crust & I don’t like red sauce — so the creamy garlic sauce is a wonderful substitute!!! I call ahead & pick up at the window!

I have a coupon for a free pepperoni pizza here and it throw me off because I have to bake them but not a big deal. I am a pizza lover and we do order pizza about once a week. However, I won’t be coming back here though. It was a huge disappointment because… 1) Too much pepperoni which cause the pizza to be very salty… 2) I couldn’t taste much of the pizza sauce because the pepperoni was too overwhelming and crust is just boring One of the worker mention that this will be the best pizza I will ever have and he’s wrong because New York has the best pizza hands down. So for right now we just stick with the trusty old Pizza Hut … The good part was the cheese…

Papa Murphy’s is a concept I’ve previously never encountered in a restaurant environment. Their«Take N’ Bake» approach is something that I’m only used to seeing in grocery stores. Not that any explanation is needed but you have them throw all the ingredients together and then you take it home and bake to your liking. For the lazy and/or impatient, this probably sounds like an atrocity when it comes to pizza. However, to those that own an oven, can wait a few minutes and like fresh, clean, home-made tasting pizza, Papa Murphy’s is your ticket. You have the option of several types of thin or standard crust and even stuffed deep dish pizzas. You select which one you want, select toppings, size and then they throw it together in front of you much akin to a Subway sandwich. Then you take the fresh dough and ingredients home and bake it yourself based upon the included directions and cook it to your preference. Surprisingly, this actually works out pretty well because the pizza comes out of the oven as done as you like it and tastes like a delicious home-made pizza without all of the excessive oil and grease. My brother and I opted for a «Family Size» half«Cowboy» and half«Murphy’s Combo» which really only differed by a couple ingredients but seemed like the best of both worlds. We also got the cheesy bread sticks. After about 15 minutes for the bread and 20 for the pizza, the food came out delicious and tasted like a fresh, home-made pizza. We consumed the whole pizza. It was good. Papa Murphy’s is probably your premier pizza joint in Yuma, and even though they are a franchise, I’ve yet to encounter one in So-Cal. So, if I’m in the mood for some pizza when visiting the brother and in-laws in Yuma, this is going to be my joint. Next time I’m going for the stuffed, deep dish.

Mmmm… can’t beat Papa Murphy’s double-decker Chicago style pizza. Enough pizza to last you through the Apocalypse. Just kidding, who the heck leaves leftovers?! The workers were super nice and gave me DOUBLE cheese when I asked for extra, unlike most pizza joints that add an extra shred when you ask for more. I got sweet talked into a smores pizza with my tub of cookie dough but heck, $ 2 off a second side, who can say no? The girl behind the counter even came around to hand me my pizza and opened the door for me. Great customer service! It’s a pity that it’s in such a desolate location, doesn’t look like it gets a lot of business.

This is where you get your moneys worth. Many people think that you need a stone oven to make a really good pizza, but it comes down to raw quality ingredients. Thats what you get. You can see the people making your pizza in front of you if you order inside. You get the pizza good to go, but not ready to eat. You get cooking instructions, and by cooking I mean how hot and how long the pizza will be in the oven. Dont believe me? Give it a shot. Go big, buy the Chicago Pie… not health food, but damn tasty. Way better than most pizza out there, and the price is right! .und das ist nach der Kritiker
