After a night of gambling and having a good time at the Quechan Casino we woke up needing a good bowl of menudo. Knowing the wouldn’t have it at the casino I went to Unilocal to see what restaurant served it in Yuma. After reading other review of La Flor we decided this would be the place to get our menudo on. It’s nice clean restaurant with polite servers. My wife is particular on how her menudo is prepared and this was spot on. Some places serve it with a greasy film, but that wasn’t the case at La Flor. The tortillas that were serve with our meal were great too. We will definitely be back to try the other dishes on their menu.

It’s our first visit here. Very hidden little restaurant with great tasting food.(At least mine was) I ordered their daily special of shredded been taco, Chile relent and an enchilada with beans and rice. Price was normal and pretty large portions. A little too much cheese for my liking. Salsa was pretty spicy and I love spicy. Almost too spicy for me though.

Great experience for my 1st time here. The place was clean, our waitress was pleasant, and the food was good. Nice lunch spot. We will be returning to try out the breakfast menu!

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside — don’t let that deter you! La Flor has unpretentious diner décor with murals on the walls and really comfortable booths. The venue is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is tasty. I’m not sure what kind of garlic spice combo they use on the cheese they top their burritos with, but dear god, it’s amazing. This is a place I will definitely come back to. While you’re here, check out the tiles on the bathroom walls. They’re super fun and unique.

First time I went here, it was the worst experience. I went with four people. One ordered a salad, two ordered soup, and one got a burrito. After being there an hour, we got a salad and one soup. That’s it. We ended up leaving because it took so long. I vowed to NEVER return. Well, I was forced to go back. And let me say that I was very worried as we went with a large group of people and were assigned only one server. Gotta admit that she wasn’t the friendliest. But I can’t really blame her. Amazingly, we received our food in a timely manner and it was actually pretty good. Went back a third time with a group of three. Got our food pretty quick and it tasted good. So overall, I would go again. Getting refills on your drink and chips require a wait but if you don’t mind that then you should have no issues. I like the various lunch specials as they were reasonably priced and are good sized. I really like their tortilla soup which is served as part of their lunch specials.

Oh La Flor, how I miss the potato flautas(tacos) and the salsa. And your yummy soup, and your delicious enchiladas. I wish I lived in Yuma again… wait, I don’t… okay, I’d like to visit again and eat Mexican food until I can’t breathe. On the other hand, maybe visitors to Yuma could do that in my place??? This is a great place to go, try it.

I love the patato flautas. $ 5 something for a dozen. In addition to the standard chips and salsa, they also give you a cup of soup with every meal.

My family and i have been patrons of this restaurant for as long as I can remember. My dad is an absolute fanatic. For Mexican food, this is as good as it gets. My dad is straight from Mexico and will not tolerate any other food, but my mom’s and the food from La Flor. He says that anything they make is good. I always stick to the enchiladas and they never disappoint. Happy Dining!

Best place in town for menudo. It’s location is what you’d probably call ‘off the beaten path’. I mean unless you lived in the area, why would you be on that street? The only thing I get there is the menudo, because like I said it’s the best in town. Their Albondigas(meatball soup) is very good too. Bring your appetite though, the large is really a large, not one of these inflation sized larges! Pozole is aight, but if you want good pozole go to La casa Deli on 32nd. Horchata here is a no-no stick with a fountain drink ;) que es fountain?
