They have a little of everything. Good place to go for geeky gifts. Only problem is the lack of organization. Everything seems cluttered onto shelves. There were a couple mugs at one end of the store and more at the other end. I ended up spending an hour longer than I wanted to because I had to pull things off the shelves to see the things in the back. The café is really nice though and not too overpriced.

This place is so much fun, it’s got everything! Ok, I didn’t actually find any of the movies I was trying to buy(and I guess I won’t find them in any of the stores around here, I might be the only person left who still buys physical media in stores), the DVD section is much bigger than the Blu-Ray section and if you look for some offers, prices might actually be lower than, say, Best Buy. But seriously, besides the movies sections(including rentals) occupying 1⁄3 of the store, there is also music including some CDs, vinyls and musical instruments, toys, gag gifts and party items, some electronics(cables, headphones, accessories), all sorts of collectible items and even adult costumes! Then there’s the book section and the coffee shop, honestly, I dedicated much more time to the other sections. All of the employees are very nice with a very relaxed attitude. I think this is the place to go if you want to find a gift for anyone!

I passed by a plain looking store; it seemed like a supermarket from the outside. However I saw a video game controller on the sign and that drew me in. Inside– holy SHIT. It’s like a miniature electronic Fry’s; all sorts of media. CD’s, records, DVDs, manga, skateboards, video games old and new, all sorts of books and a whole buttload of collectable comics and actions figures, and probably the last store in Yuma to sell plastic models(which is what I was looking for) The stuff is pretty overpriced and it looks like you can sell used things, unfortunately a couple of the model kits are ‘prebuilt’ but charged at full price. A couple of the action figures are badly damaged boxes, as well. If you don’t really know what you wanna buy but have money burning in your pocket, hastings seems like a place to find some neat impulse buys.

This place has lots of things going on: a coffee shop, games, magazines, books, music, calendars, toys, posters, bags, electronics, & movies. I have yet to try the coffee shop & their book prices are a bit on the higher side. However, if you’re looking for a nice bargain on movie rentals or cd’s you can’t find anywhere else. This is it! New releases are $ 3.99 with a $ 2 credit if returned the following day! Can’t get any better than that!

In the early 90s, this was about the only place to really go hang out in the a/c. I got used to going there with my friends. It was fun. I haven’t been there since 1996 so I’m not sure what its like anymore.
