Walking in employees can be more welcoming or even helpful. When I had a questions about rapid pick-up because I was unaware of how it works. Getting stupid stares like I should know, if I did I wouldn’t have asked. Needless to say I figured it out on my own after awhile. Order was correct and tasted good.

Terrible service. I had initially order to sit in the restaurant and eat, but got to-go for the hubs. Tell me why I would have to track down my food? Every person working near the station wouldn’t even ask me if I needed anything. They were incredible rude. Don’t think I’d be coming back. Management team needs some training on customer service. Two thumbs down.

Very disappointed is the take/out sandwich I got last night. Mozzeralla & Tomato panini on flat bread. The cheese was less than a serving of sliced mozzarella and 2 thin slices of tomato. Mostly stuffed with sprigs of kale. I will not be returning anytime soon, unless it’s for a bagel.

I like Panera’s food but hate going to them(wife is a fan). I don’t like going because after subjecting myself to approximately 12 different stores(locally and traveling) the service has always sucked… until this store. A manager there actually works. He delivers food, busses tables, and is genuinely nice guy. We were on vacation and passed by this location. I wish I had caught his name for a shout out, but he’s a young black guy with long hair. He’s absolutely professional and should be the model for all the other stores.

Walked in to the store a bit past 8:30am; seems like a new store location. Everything clean and in order. The store had the new self kiosks for ordering. Signs of the times, i like a friendly smile and interaction, took a ehile to get someone to help us out. Eventually a young lady help us out, not very customer friendly but the transaction got done. The lady changing the coffee was very friendly and cheerful. Please panera lets not get the self kiosks at your stores. Nothing like a friendly smile to brighten up my mornings.

Food was good. Staff was incredible! My food arrived at my table before I had a chance to settle in. And how did they know that was my order? There was no number with my order, my name was not called and my buzzer did not go off. And as I ate, I noticed staff active in the dining room. They were cleaning and clearing, bringing extra items, etc. When I took my dishes to the busing station a staff member carrying an order to be delivered told me to leave them there, that she would take care of it. Panera should send these people to other restaurants to train them.

I have always been accommodated at the panera bread by my house for breakfast due to my gluten allergy, usually meaning they just make a breakfast sandwich without bread which is really less work for them. Today, they said they had nothing they could serve me even after my explaining what has been done for me in the past, leaving me heartbroken and on the lookout for a new breakfast establishment.

Love Panera usually but this one was a horrible experience! The girls had more interest in gossiping in the back then paying attention to customers. Although she did apologize for my wait I had been standing there awhile listening to them gossip. My husbands salad wasn’t fresh at all it tasted awful. Wouldn’t recommend this PB and probably won’t go back.

I am giving four stars based on the overall meal and past performance at Panera in general. My meal was the Italian Combo — bread was excellent, lettuce crisp and fresh, and meat was tasty. The pepperoncino pepper was a nice touch to the flavor. My only complaint with the sandwich was the minuscule scrap of seared steak included with it. I opened the sandwich to remove the fresh tomato slices for my son who loves them way more than I do and noticed the amount of steak included in the sandwich was paltry at best. My sons both ordered the Turkey Chili. After we paid and sat down we were informed that the chili had been discontinued at the store. This was not a big deal, but it would have nice to know this when placing the order. The attendant handled the situation well and with apologies so all was good. This is not the first time we have had minor problems with items we order being ‘out’ at this restaurant. All in all the food we were served was excellent so I selected four stars. Five stars is not out of the question for Panera if they get a better handle on the tiny details.

My friend who used to work here told me they would put new labels on old food and serve it to customers.

Oh Man Oh Man… just tried the Mediterranean flatbread at panera and it was really good! I can’t wait to try the other two! It was so good. The hummus inside was delicious!!! I love the veggie soup too it’s my fave! My friend had a free smoothie on her card and didn’t want it so I snatched it up. I went with the super fruit smoothie which was delicious!!! I am a big fan of my lunch choice today!!!

The last few times I’ve been here I’ve been very displeased. Today I got a panini that I paid 8 bucks for that barely had meat on it. It was a joke. The previous two times my Mac and cheese was not full either. I don’t mind paying the price if I’m getting quality but I’m not here. Pic is included to show the sandwich.

Like the first reviewer, we too were SO glad to finally have a Panera Bread in the area. Haven’t been to one in many years. Being a relative«newbie», right off the bat, I was slightly confused by the«You Pick Two» choice. After sorting that out, our party of three made our«You Pick Two» choices. I had the Italian combo ½ sandwich with a ½ shrimp salad(which doesn’t appear on their website). My sandwich had wonderful ingredients but was contained by bread that was too tough and(because I like my sandwiches sloppy) needed extra mayo, while the ½ shrimp salad was so superb, I wished I had chosen a whole salad without the ½ sandwich. My wife had the ½ chipotle chicken sandwich and ½ bowl of French onion soup. The sandwich was very good and only needed the addition of a little salt, but the soup was tasty but was far too salty. Our companion(an experienced Panera Bread patron) enjoyed her favorite, the ½ grilled cheese sandwich and a ½ bowl of soup and enjoyed it(as usual). The order takers were very accomplished in explaining the many choices and someone even brought the orders to us rather than depending on the beeper to summon us for counter pickup. This was unexpected and a very nice surprise. The restaurant was not crowded, quiet(big plus for me) and chilly and on this nice, bright, sunny day. The outside tables might have been a better seating choice for my wife and I.

It is great to finally have a Panera in Yulee. My daughter and I have been here several times and while I think it is a little pricy the staff is always friendly and the food is tasty. I do wish they would offer to warm the pastries though.
