We started out with the fried oysters, which were delicious. The batter they used was seasoned well and had a wonderful flavor. Evan had the Ribeye. It was about 18 oz(give or take). The other reviews were spot on about how good their steak tastes. He said it’s on his top five list of good steaks. It was cooked to perfection. I had the seafood gumbo and as with everything else, I loved it. My only word of advice is when asked if you want the 12 oz or 16 oz bowl, get the 12 oz. I got the 16 oz and it was way too much for me. Definitely try this place out. It’s clean; the service is good; it has a great atmosphere; and the food is pretty darn good. l, too.

The food is good, when you get it. Service was very slow, we were only given 2 menus for our group of 8, had to ask for silverware, refills, napkins etc. It took about 25 mins to get our food and the portions didn’t match the price. The food was good and everyone in our group was satisfied but the service is lacking. I would understand if it was super busy but they never full.

I’ve worked with the Team at The Big Easy as a vendor and my experience has been absolutely amazing! You can judge a lot about a business not just how they treat their customers but also how they treat and deal with their partners and vendors. In this regard the owners of The Big Easy are absolutely some of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with! They are responsive, attentive, and just great people. I highly recommend visiting and dining here because there is zero doubt in my mind that this is THE joint for great food and great people!

Excellent food. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor. The service was good, the only thing this place needs is a good stand alone location. Being in a strip mall, it can be easy to miss and it lacks a lot of the character and ambience usually found in a Cajon restaurant. That being said I go out to eat for the food not the scenery so this place will be one of our main stops.

Pulled this place on yulp. Stopped in, smelled good food as soon as the door opened. The catfish royal was great. I’ll eat here the next time threw.

This is the best Cajun food in Oklahoma. It’s looks like a «hole in the wall» from the outside, but the inside has a great atmosphere and fantastic food. Red beans and rice are just like Maw-maw’s… And the gumbo is the bomb! This place would satisfy any misplaced Cajun.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in yukon. They have arguably the best steaks in the OKC metro area. The gumbo never disappoints. I really like the way they prepare their version of crawfish étouffée. It is creamy goodness. The catfish and oysters are always good. If you like Cajun food, then I recommend that you give this place a try.

Very good food — I love the gumbo and blackened catfish royals. The service is very hit and miss. They really need to hire an interior decorator.

Ate lunch and had seafood pasta. This place is legit! Tasted very authentic! Only reason it’s not 5 star is it was a little pricey for lunch. $ 15 for a lunch item and tea. Very good food though. I’ll be going back.

Very good cajun! I like spicy and not like how some people think of «spicy,» and this food is flavorful and spicy! Never disappointed when i come here. Casual, good for kids. Big portions. Good prices. Good when you are craving something different! Have taken my mom and grandma and friends here!

Great food and service, had catfish royale and it was great. Wife had red beans and rice with sausage and loved it. Only complaint, place is noisy due to concrete flooring and wooden chair legs that make a LOT of noise when moved.

I’m a big Cajun food fiend, so I had to check it out. This is a lesser known little family/casual dining restaurant tucked away in a small strip center… if you’re not looking for it, you wouldn’t know it was there.(Maybe they should get a large sign by the roadway. I’m sure more people would like to know about this place) I always get the crawfish etoufee, my wife varies the dishes that she gets, but they are a very friendly casual staff, who always take good care of us. We’ve never had to wait for seating, even on weekend nights. The food is excellent, but the portions are not large.

Had lunch there today, got there just after their 11am opening and we were alone. Clean restaurant, NOLA theme nothing fancy. Getting our food seemed to take a while but when we it arrived it smelled great. I had the red beans and rice and the wife had the catfish royale. The food was simple, hot, spicy and tasted great. Service was good and price was $ 30 for two incl a shared dessert.

Son and I went here when the girls were off doing their thing. Decent value, pretty good food, clean, good service, just not quite a 5 star experience.

Feels like I am back in Louisiana all over again. Hubby loves this place. I have gotten the chicken and sausage gumbo, and the pasta. So good. The cheese sticks come with a house sauce that is amazing. Hubby always saves room for the bread pudding.

The Big Easy New Orleans Café is a cajun inspired restaurant that offers many favorites from the Big Easy. They have etuffe, gumbo, blackened shrimp, chicken, and catfish. The décor is interesting, with many eclectic pieces about new orleans, and even a full suit of armor(I’m not sure what that has to do with New Orleans). Most of the entres cost around 13 – 16 dollars. They do have a wide selection, including some big steak options for you steak lovers, ranging from 16 – 24 ounces of steak goodness. The friends I was with ordered the hushpuppy appetizer, and they were actually pretty good. Cornbread hushpuppies that could have very well been made from scratch. Very tasty. I got to try a little bit of my friend’s sausage jambalaya, and it was pretty good. Not too spicy, but very good flavor. The service was pretty good, but nothing special. I, however, got the New Orleans seafood pasta. It’s supposed to be a spicy alfredo with lots of shrimp, crab, and crawfish. It was alright, but it seemed like the way they made it spicy was to load on tons of black pepper. that’s it. it might have had other stuff, but the black pepper overloaded the dish so I couldn’t taste anything else. Now, I am going to try them again, just because I believe I just got the wrong dish. It’s a bit pricy, but not bad once in a while.

My brother asked if I wanted to tag along for lunch to Big Easy. That required me to put on pants. Laziness trumps pants. I said no. Being a considerate brother, he came by after lunch with some food from Big Easy. So Cajun cuisine is one of those cuisines that frequently underwhelms me. Well, to say I’m underwhelmed is a bit harsh. I’m certainly not overwhelmed. So, I suppose I’m whelmed. My brother brought Sea Food Gumbo, and Rice & Beans. It was hot and fresh when it arrived. It tasted fine. Partially cafeteria-like in quality and consistency. Occasionally, there was a hint of something that made you go, «hmm, that was good… I think?» The Gumbo was particularly disappointing. The R&B was filling, although the sausage was very… hotdog-like. My brother swears by what he had when he was there earlier. His Catfish Royale(or something along those lines) was apparently quite delicious, and even he was surprised that the food he brought was so different from his meal. In his case, it was underwhelming. In my case, it’s nothing special but I’d be lying if I said it was awful. Therefore, I’m whelmed. Perfectly whelmed. I don’t even know if that’s a word. It is now.
