Was referred to them by the Mercy Clinic across the street(which would’ve been a 2hr. wait for mercy). They accepted my insurance(UHC), was affordable, and was able to see myself, my husband and my daughter right away. Staff was friendly & fast. Would definitely refer this place to anyone!

They staff and PA that I saw were very friendly and professional. I have been here before, but it has been a while. My experience was great even though I wasn’t feeling so great. When I checked in, I was alerted that the wait could possibly be 1 ½ hours. I still wanted to wait but was just happy that she alerted me. I’ve waited that long, if not longer, at a regular doctors office with an appointment. In reality, I was called back within 30 minutes. The triage nurse was very friendly and polite as she took my vitals. The PA listened to me and gave a thorough exam. My prescriptions were ready and filled within ten minutes of me checking out. They were sent electronically to my pharmacy. I will definitely use this facility in the future if needed and will recommend to friends and family.

I took My son in today with a fever and a possible ear infection. When I walked in I signed my son in and a guy at the window looked like we were bothering him because he was studying. Then the girl took us back and the girl that took us back was nice, but that’s about it. I had told her that he had a fever and his ears hurt. So we go to the room and the PA comes in and looks in his ears and says well your ears hurt? Okay well even if he doesn’t have strep at least I will prescribe him antibiotic so if he has something then he can fight it. HORRIBLE! WHYWOULDYOUNOTDO A STREPTEST. MYCHILDWASRUNNING A 102. FEVER. DODOCTORSNOTWORKATANYACCESSMEDICALSANYWHEREANYMORE? I LOVENEWCASTLEACCESSMEDICAL. My friend also used you guys 2 weeks ago and she felt like no one knew anything. Please fix this place!!!

I tried to get in this morning, but they said they have instituted a new policy where if you have not paid your entire deductible for the year, you have to pay them the full price for your visit. My insurance covers office visits with a $ 25 copay. Why would I pay Access Medical $ 75 when I can literally go down the street 100 yards to Mercy After Hours Clinic and pay only my copay? There is no way this place will be in business in a year.

I told the PA when I came in with the flu and strep that my asthma would need attention. Her solution was to allow my asthma to get bad and then come back. That is the worst advice I have ever gotten from a medical professional, not to mention dangerous. Now here I am three days later, and while my flu and strep symptoms have improved I’m wheezing and coughing. I am going to have to pay for another visit to the doctor. Part of a healthcare providers job is to listen to her patients. I’m not sure when this stopped happening.

You will heal faster than they can get you in. I waited almost THREE hours and it was not even busy. Save your time and money unless you want to spent the day as a ghost.

Worst experience ever. The doctor literally spent 30 seconds in the room with me and wouldn’t stop talking over me to let me tell him what was wrong. He heard me say I was in pain and immediately said they would write me pain meds and muscle relaxers with out any other info. And then said if I wasn’t better in a week to come back. I felt completely disregarded. Stay away. They just want to push you out the door and not really help. No one was friendly or even the least bit helpful.
