This is a great little store run by fantastic people! So I drove from San Diego to visit my mom in Yucaipa. I grew up in this little town, and I can remember seeing this shop since the late 70s, but I never went inside, I hate to admit, until recently. I was on my way to Highland to attend a Fernando Valenzuela baseball signing event, and needed to buy a couple balls so I ducked into this little shop. The gentleman who helped me gave me the best balls, and he even gave me advise on what kind of pen to take for the signing. I mean, he went above and beyond good customer service. The lady working there was also very helpful and sweet as can be. When I was there they were having a 50% sale on everything. I hope they aren’t closing down. I also bought a Kansas City Royals hat for cheap to wear to the series they are having with the Padres. I would up leaving that place with 2 balls and a hat for $ 15! The only thing I didn’t like was they take cash only, but its not a big deal and this place is well worth visiting. It is a shame that small businesses like this one with strong roots in the community are vanishing. I wish I had shopped here growing up, and I hope to see this place around for another 20 years.
