I can’t say enough good things about Progressive Energy. From the buying process, to site survey, to building permits, to installation — the service was outstanding! They worked around my schedule, explained every aspect of the process in detail, there were no surprises or hidden costs. The installation team was amazing. They said they would be at my house at 7am and I found the crew patiently waiting for me at 6:45. They kept my property clean, were extremely friendly and gave me detailed updates throughout the entire installation process. Highly recommended!

they completely did a bate and switch with the financing. charged me 5k in fees and didn’t disclose any of it all my docs got sent to the wrong email witch they input. called to get the problem corrected they said that they had emailed all info to me and I explained that my email was incorrect. finally got loan docs was very surprised over the 5k price increase. they auto signed all of my docs. problem is still not fixed I have reported them to multiple agencies for fraud. they did however do a great job on my installation. very quick and professional when it came to that. however they were not truthful on price and amount financed.

I used this company for my solar panels. Bottom line is we paid $ 40,000 for a solar panel system that underproduces every single year. We get a $ 2000 Edison bill every December. With our solar panel bill and Edison we now pay over $ 400 a month for energy. After writing a demand letter to the owner in March 2015 he has not made any attempt to rectify the situation. I can not in good conscience recommend this company for your solar needs. It has been a very disappointing and upsetting purchase. Please do your homework and use a company that your friends and family are happy with.

I’ve purchased two sets of panels from PES now and I couldn’t be happier with the product I purchased or the customer service they have provided. The best part is, the company handled absolutely everything from the application to our HOA to being at the house for the electric company inspection. They are absolutely top notch. Anytime I have a question about something, they get right back to me with an answer or a solution. I’ve recommended them to two friends now and both have been extremely satisfied with the service. I have a third friend who is interested in solar and I’ll definitely be recommending Progressive Energy Solutions to him as well.

We contactef PES after moving into our home in April of 2014. Our electric bill in the summer was over $ 600 per month. Their sales rep, Frank Melendez, negotiated and proposed a solar system that would solve our high energy bills. The end product performed as promised and now our monthly bill averages around $ 1.50. The staff was always professional and courteous. The installers were polite and on time and the work site was left spotless. Some say they are overpriced but I disagree. I’ve looked at other properties with solar installations from other companies and PES far exceeds any I’ve seen. Bottom line; you get what you pay for. If you want the best solar system contact Progressive Solar Solutions.

This guy name Devon Lee who came to our house and totally explained everything to us, he also made sure that i was also listening in case my parents doesnt understand what he’s trying to say, my parents really wanted solar so he provided a solution, my folks kept saying we couldnt afford it so he tried to give us a better solution by giving us the right offer that we could afford, he even gave us more power than we expected to be.
so after, the good parts we were down to checking if we were approved by Hero (Home Energy Renovation Opportunity), we were disapproved first bec. my parents had bankruptcy 3 yrs. ago, it says it should be after 7 yrs. to be approved but he didnt give up, we were doing this for almost 3 hours now, he was already late for his next appointment but he wasnt rushing to leave, he made sure we will get this offer. so he made another solution by checking our mortgage bills, since my parents paid their bills on time, there was no bad record or anything, he took a picture and sent it to hero. and bam we were approved!
i wont go into details bec. its too personal to talk about mortgage plans, but we were told to save $ 113 every month and pay everything off along with our yearly tax at the end of the year.
so the process were held about 3 weeks, bec. the home association has to approved by it, but in the end, we were approved and the guys installed solar for 13 panels (i think) on our house. we’ve had solar for 2 months now with no problems.

We’re loving our Progressive solar PV array. We were able to take advantage of not only the 30% federal tax credit, but our local utility had a generous rebate package that saved us $ 13,000 on the project!
Having the system actually put us in a net production capacity during a month is just awesome. It’s great to see your electric bill come in with a big «DON’T PAY» sign plastered over the front and see a $ 20 or $ 25 credit at the bottom!

A Man named Tom came out to our house about 4 week s ago from Progressive. We made the appointment with regards to getting a roof, insulation and gutters. He took 2 hours of our time to pitch us on Solar Panels. We kept on asking him about the roof and insulation. He kept on pushing off the subject and said he would have his roof guy come out and give us an estimate. Wasn’t that’s what he was supposed to do???
Tom said he would send us an email on the roof guy and would make an apt that Monday. That was 4 weeks ago and we never heard back from him. It was quite evident on our part that we were not interested in Solar a 30,000 dollar Solar system.
No call… no roof… no insulation???

This company has amazing customer service. I am by no means an easy customer. I’m in the service industry so I would be the first to call out a bad company. I had 8 solar reps come to my house and none of them could get me the right deal. Thom Palmer made it happen. He truly looked at every angle of my situation and created a system them I liked and most important my wife liked. This experience with Progressive energy was so amazing I got my dad and father in law interested. Thank you Thom Palmer, chuck bischoff and James schlangehaft for everything.

WAY OVER PRICED! My wife and I decided to go solar and this was the first company we met with. Bottom line, we met with other solar companies and Progressive’s price was almost double the other quotes for the EXACT SAME system. We ended up going with Sunline Energy out of San Diego.
