Stopped in at the new location on the old Norton AFB. They occupy the Hanger Inn space, which was my go to burger grill waaaaay back in the 80’s when I lived there. Crazy line up with unique spins; horchata ale, s’more Porter with habanero, pecan lavender wheat… You get it. Fun beers and they meet my expectations to do something with a ‘wow’ factor. The recipes are spot on. Bonus points for a pinball machine! The only thing holding them back from 5 stars is serving flites and pints in plastic. I’m sure it’ll change as they develop more capital. Bottom line– Berdoo needs a place like this. Good job, lads!

The beer here is great, and the customer service was awesome. Only problem I had was that there were only 6 beers on tap and all the ones I wanted to sample were only for sale in a bottle. Otherwise, well worth the visit of you are in the area!

I had to update my review because the first experience was awesome but the second was not that great. The girl who helped us seemed confused as to what she was pouring and didn’t give us the experience we had the first time. We sat outside at the picnic tables and noticed that a customer brought their own beer. He seemed like a regular so we figured we can go to the little market and get our own drinks too(mind you we were still drinking & buying theirs). When we got back we were told that we couldn’t open our drinks we bought. This bothered me because it was okay for someone else to do it but not us? Doesn’t matter if you’re a regular rules are rules. Despite that, I still really like the environment of this place and their selection.

Great unique beers, not you run of the mill bar/pub. Great staff and excellent beers. Home Brewers would appreciate

I took 4 friends here for some after dinner drinks on a Saturday night. The beer I like but our server was very unprofessional. He insisted in a very rude manner that all 5 of us had to drink off the same plastic Dixie cup samples even after I had asked him for our own individual samples. He used very crude language thinking he was a really witty guy. He is a short stout guy with dark hair and dark rim glasses with a really bad attitude who doesn’t know how to read his customers. We finished our beer and got out of there. This place left a bad taste in our mouths.

I’ve been here 3 times in the past two years and I gotta say the staff is great. Well I should say«David» I believe his name is, is great. Hope I got that right because he is a really Nice guy and very knowledgeable about the craft. The good– I really enjoyed the Caramel Apple Pie Brew. It was seriously a treat. That should be a year round beer. I believe it was a strawberry rhubarb as well that was pretty tasty. They aren’t afraid to try anything in there mash, that’s for sure! It’s not a place that’s overrun by youngsters trying to get hammered. You can actually sit outside and have a good convo with a buddy or meet fellow beer advocates without 20 people yelling in every direction beside you. Sometimes that’s needed ya know? ;) The not so good — The prices here are a little on the steep side and the location makes it a little tough to be seen. This is definitely a «You had to be invited» type of feel when you walk up. It’s kinda like finding a needle in a hay stack. They don’t have a flagship beer. I can appreciate this but at the same time when I found two beers I really enjoyed, I never saw them again. From a business stand point I’d like to believe you’d want your customers to come back to something loved by the majority of your clientele. A few of my buddies have said the same thing. «Why do they not have these beers year round?» IMO you should never run out of an IPA. The Geronimo was decent but needed more floral and pine notes. I didn’t really get that pungent IPA citrus nose punch that I look for. IPA’s usually the beer that people have been clinging to the past few years with this West Coast IPA movement that hit and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon. Overall this place has some quality things going on for them, there’s no doubt about that. The atmosphere isn’t for everyone but that shouldn’t steer you away from trying it out. I do really enjoy a few of there beers when they have them. I wish these guys nothing but the best!

Friendly service and great tasting beer. Pints are $ 5 – 8 and well worth it. Will be back.

Not impressed with the beer. Second time visiting. The beers all seemvlike the fruit chilli ect is added to cover a unrefined recipie or flaw.

We had an awesome time using our Groupon here. We tried 6 different beers, each one so unique. I love the Peach Honey Wheat(took some to-go cuz it was so good). My boyfriend really liked the Stout with White Chocolate and Raspberry, as well as the PBJ. We actually bought a few different beers because we were excited to have some friends try them. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I found this brewery on Unilocal while in the area. We drove past it, actually and had to turn around and find the spray painted wall near the road. You really need a proper sign as its hidden behind a convenient store. I get that these are home brewers trying to make it in this world on their own dime, but you really need to raise some cash to make improvements on your facility. A go fund me campaign can help. I like that you can order a beer, go outdoors and sit at a picnic table or under a large tree or even bar b que your own food, but the place really needs a lot of work. I hope the owners read this because I think they can go far with this. There is some real potential here. The Geronimo ipa is really good and unique with its east coast style. It was smooth and had a lovely floral nose. You really need a bigger variety of beers. All those specialty beers with PB&J and raspberry this and stout that is not what beer connoisseurs are looking for, especially in warm weather. You need more ales lagers pilsners and IPAs to stay competitive and to lock in those wholesale clients. Just have one or two of the specialty beers on hand. I hope this helps you grow and go far. Best of luck to you.

Found this spot on our way back from a day trip, and fucking love it! Very friendly staff, excellent and inventive beers, and super laid back atmosphere. Basically everything I could want out of a neighborhood brewery — too bad we live 80 miles away! Basically, if you’re passing by, you NEED to grab a beer or two here.

Interesting location, not where you would expect to find a brewery. Nice outdoor space, they have grills there for use. Ample parking, but can get full quickly. Great beer I’m a stout and porter drinker and they had many. If your a light beer drinker you may not be a fan. Great staff, knowledgeable without being condescending. Great sense of humor and fun.

I used the Groupon deal and drank down 7 sampler beers. The service was great Dave was working he was very knowledgeable and very welcoming. The beer however was all flavored and apparently I do not like flavored beers. The deal from Groupon came with a free growler of beer or a free empty glass to take home I took the glass. The water was very good :) The atmosphere was like that of a «Guerilla Kitchen» I passed by it once before realizing where to turn in. The fact that they are always changing the beer flavors might lead me to return someday… maybe. I recommended that they keep 1 or 2 house favorites on tap in case someone did not want a flavored beer. So to wrap up 5 stars for the Service and atmosphere, 1 star for the flavor of the beer and 5 stars for the clean water leaves me at 3 stars total.

Two stars is for service and a helpful assistant brewer who was working the counter when we visited, he’s an asset for this brewery for sure. As for the beer, anyone who says great/five stars/etc doesn’t know beer, and/or is being paid off to say nice things. We had a deal for a flight, and a growler. We tasted the coffee stout, winter warmer, peach honey wheat, strawberry honey wheat, geronimo IPA, and one more(it’s been a few weeks, sorry). Not that it matters which you taste, because none are good. We wound up getting the Geronimo IPA in the growler, because we thought it was drinkable. Turns out that once we got home and tasted the Geronimo when it wasn’t side by side with other more-awful beers, it too was terrible. Down the drain it went. There are too many good breweries in the IE to go this far out of your way for this bad beer. Also — their prices are insane — bombers are no less than 16 bucks, with some exceeding 20! If you’re misled into thinking price = quality, you will be sorely disappointed.

If I had a brewery it would be just like this. This place reminds me of home. In Missouri we have bars like this that outdoors and everyone watches football and just chills. I absolutely LOVE the cat. We had a stranger even by a barley wine and share with us. Such good people. This will my go to when we move here. Their flavors switch frequently which is good because I love trying new things, bad if you find a favorite. They are also expanding to a location in San Bernadino. We had blueberry honey wheat. It was very good. Geronimo IPA, JPJ Stout, s’mores porter with habanero, Black Friday BBA, the King Stout had Peanut butter and bananas. It was a favorite. Cran-Mama Old Ale was awesome. Definitely reminded me of Christmas.

SOCOOL! I took my boyfriend here today because he always takes me wine tasting so I thought it would be great to taking him beer tasting. This place was the perfect place to come. It’s hidden a little off the road behind a liquor store. Once we found it we were glad that it was so «normal» looking. The flavors were unlike anything we had ever thought of when it came to beer. Flavors like s’more habanero and pumpkin spice turned out to be so delicious. David was a very big help. He was so knowledgeable and very attentive. If we are ever out that way again we will definitely be stopping by. I recommend this place if you like trying new things.

Found this brewery after a coworker of mine mentioned it to me. First off let me just say the only reason it’s not 5 stars is because if you’re heading down California St passing the brewery on your left, you’ll miss it. If you drive by with the brewery being on the right, there’s a sign to guide you to their place. A quick signage fix would make a 5 star review! The beer here is tasty, the pourers are awesome, and I haven’t had a beer here that I haven’t liked! I’m not an IPA drinker and haven’t had any of theirs so, I can’t speak to those. But their stouts, porters, and even their Rhubarb beer are delicious! They’re a simple brewery with big personality and flavor. They’re also not too far off the 10, so if you’re driving by the area and have some time, stop by Brew Rebellion for some tasty brew!

This is not your average craft beer joint, and that is a good thing. After all, who wants sameness? One reviewer, Tim, criticized their beer for being«cute» and too floral”. Wow, really Tim? Ever try their bourbon barrel amber, their winter warmer, the bourbon barrel IPA, the John Paul Walker stout and coffee stout? And«cute»? Really? They name their beers after notorious rebells like Geronimo and John Paul Jones, as well as Saunders. It’s not like they are naming their beers«baby deer tears porter» or «kitten whiskers IPA»…idiot. And yes, they have a peach honey wheat and right now a blueberry honey wheat. So what? Just because you don’t like fruit wheat beers doesn’t mean they deserve a 2 star rating, especially since David your barkeep was so friendly and knowledgeable. I can drink any man under the table. I love strong-ass IPAs so hoppy they would make the devil cry. But I also like the fruit wheat beers this place does because I appreciate the skill it takes to create those floral notes. This is a unique brewery, and that is a good thing. If you have any kind of a sophisticated palate then you will appreciate the beer at Brew Rebellion.
