The food is good, although it seems to take a while to make. My biggest complaint is that they had Family Guy playing on the big screen tv which has terrible language and adult content. I didn’t realize until too late my children were watching. I probably won’t take them in there again.

Their deli sandwiches are the«bomb». The sourdough roll is nice and sour and chewy and I had the balsamic vinegarette and just loved it. Top quality and they get the order right each time.

Nice, clean sandwich shop. It’s warm in the place because of the toasting oven. So be aware if you aren’t ordering ‘to go’. Price is very reasonable, $ 7 for a big sandwich. The ordering process is similar to Subway– pick your bread, fillings and toppings. I ordered the BBQ chicken on sourdough and opted not have it toasted. The roll was fresh and soft. Overall it was a very good sandwich. I would come here again.

Order: Chicken Honey Mustard Result: Completely taken aback by the different flavors found in a single bite. The sandwhich itself had amazing consistency and for a lack of a better term gave me a food-gasm. The Staff: Immediately as I walked through the door I am greeted by the friendliest staff at 4:30 in the afternoon when they are prephaps very tired but still greeted me as if it was opening time. I will definitely be back to this business and I was incredibly happy that they deliver

I’ve only ordered here once so far, having just moved to the neighborhood. But the sandwiches were tasty and I plan to make return visits. I ordered two sandwiches to-go, chicken honey mustard(for myself) and chicken carbonara(for my dad), both on the Dutch crunch bread. We both enjoyed our sandwiches: good flavors, quality ingredients. I took away one star because the menu they have posted in the shop is small and limited– they have a much longer, more extensive menu posted online, but you wouldn’t know this from entering the shop. This doesn’t make sense to me. Why don’t the menus match up?

The«Good»: They deliver, and it was pretty quick Friendly customer service Open late The«OK»: The food. Ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado on a wrap. It was HUGE, which I guess explains why it was $ 8.99(lasted me two meals, though). The sandwich was a smidge too salty… not sure if it was the ranch sauce or the meat itself, but it was a little off-putting. The«Bad»: Unfortunately, the cookie I ordered was just plain bad. I’ve never said that about a chocolate chip cookie before in my life. It would be a great opportunity for them to start baking their own in-house instead of ordering in from a company in Texas. Overall, not a bad sandwich, but missed the mark a bit.

I give this place 3 stars because the sandwich tasted great & was a great deal. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me with their funny greeting and asked if I needed help with how to order. He walked me through the process which I very much appreciated. I ordered the turkey-bacon-avocado, but then an employee who looked like she was taking a break sitting at one of the tables yells across the restaurant«you don’t have any religious preferences do you??» Shocked that she would blurt something like that out, after I clearly ordered a TURKEY-BACON sandwich. I let the gentleman making my sandwich I didn’t and I would like what I ordered. She then proceeded to tell me about a situation she had earlier with a customer. As I am patiently waiting at the register for my sandwich to be finished, she came up behind the register and rang me up and proceeded to tell me the size of my drink I was getting with a kids meal I ordered, when the person making my sandwich already told me everything I was getting. I just wanted her to take my money and stop talking because I was just feeling really uncomfortable. Well, all in all I would come again. Hopefully she learns a little but more about customer service and how to ask a question without sounding ignorant.

I don’t think I’ve ever given any place two stars but these guys really don’t deserve more than that. I’m giving it two because I don’t have the heart to give it one. My son, husband & I had lunch there today and it was very disappointing. You’re greeted by the ladies saying something about«yummy in your tummy». We thought that was strange but stayed anyway. Then the TV was blaring & there was an incredibly loud man in there with his loud kids so that didn’t help the atmosphere either. All that aside, there are like 5 or 6 sandwiches on their menu, that’s it, chicken bacon ranch, turkey bacon avocado with ranch sauce, etc. you get the picture. Everything has bacon & ranch. We got them to go because the atmosphere was just too much for me. The sandwiches were not at all good. The bread was super dry & I swear my turkey tasted like tuna. We LOVE sandwiches & frequent our local sandwich shops, but this place doesn’t even compare to a prepackaged sandwich from a vending machine.

I was working in Yuba City and on my way to Sacramento really wanting a sandwich when I came across this place on Unilocal and decided to try it out. The service was absolutely outstanding and my sandwich was delicious. I was very impressed and glad I found this place. I will return when I am in the area. Props to the owner of this establishment.

Live right next door. So husband and I decided to try it. I got the turkey bacon gauc Anc husband got the French dip. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. Would come again. The employee was very sweet and nice. She brought our food to the table(which she didn’t have to) & she asked what we would like to watch on Netflix. I wish I could’ve gotten her name but she has short hair.

Message to the owner: Your food is good and employees are nice, however having your employees recite your slogan«one tummy at a time,» and«something yummy for your tummy» is penetratingly annoying. I feel that it is embarrassing and demeaning to your employees. A simple«Welcome to York’s,» should suffice. I realize this review may be harsh, but I just can’t get passed it. I would be willing to edit this post and add an additional star if this issue is addressed.

I love the sandwiches, they are so filling and so mouth watering. The employees even wrap it in a way that you can eat it on the way!

Super happy this place pop up in this Neighborhood. I was on route to Starbucks, dreading their limit selection of «healthy options» . The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. Had an amazing gluten free sandwich stack high with so many vegetable. My new go to place when I’m in town for work !
