I received a gift certificate for a pedicure and it was great. It was relaxing, clean and nicely set up. Will go back again!

Very happy that I found Summer. When I moved here I was super nervous to have to find someone new to do my hair and she made me feel very comfortable in trusting her to do my hair. I have really long blonde hair but I like to add blonder highlights so I’m always nervous because I don’t want anyone to damage my hair then I’d have to cut it– it’s a fear of mine lol. But she is super fantastic so yes I highly recommend Summer at The Day Spa!

If your looking to get your hair done Valerie is the girl for you. I’ve been platinum blonde for six years now and thanks to her my hair has never been so healthy. I referred a friend to her that gets highlights and she is also hooked. Beautiful and classy hair is what Valerie will give you and she’s a sweetheart and has I believe ten years experience.

While on vacation I decided to spoil my wife. I took her to this amazing spa in Yuba City. She was treated like a queen! Next time we are in Yuba city she will be there!

I was on the search for a new hair dresser and was recommended to The Day Spa. I was able to get an appt. rather quickly with Tanya (I now know why) on short notice. The salon looked nice and had several stations with customers getting their hair done. Tanya seemed nice and friendly. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and asked her if she could do it, she replied confidently, «oh yeah.»
The hair came out terribly. It looked nothing like the pic and I could tell she was stressing. She didn’t use a high enough volume on my hair and the highlights she put in turned orange, she had to tone out my hair three times and process twice. I was in her chair for over 4 hours. She told me she didn’t want me to see until the end. It’s never a good sign when a hair dresser busts out the curling iron after a hair cut and color without letting the client see. She started curling and I knew it looked bad, I had a solid line of demarcation on my head. Not to mention the hair dresser in the booth next to us gave Tanya a look of complete surprise and disgust. In the mirror I could see Tanya looked flustered and surprised by the end result.
She could tell I was upset and said she could fix anything, but at this point I had little trust in her skills. She was rushing all over the place and it seemed like fixing my hair wasn’t her top priority. All the employees in the salon could see my frustration and were telling me my hair looks great, but their compliments felt staged. I paid full price, went home and cried to my pregnant friend who spent three hours in her kitchen fixing my hair.
I do not recommend the salon or any of the hair dressers. Any of the employees could have stepped in and offered to help her out and instead they shot each other glances and let an unsatisfied and upset customer leave the salon with awfully colored hair.

I have visited The Day Spa twice, once for a 60 minute massage and once for a 90 minute massage. Both times the massage therapist was Heather. In my opinion Heather is an outstanding massage therapist as she asks you questions to make sure she is not massaging to firmly or to softly. Heather is very polite as she will engage in conversation with you if you want but is okay if you are being quiet during the massage, this is very relaxing for me as a customer and makes me feel at ease and glad that I came to the Day Spa. I would definitely recommend The Day Spa to friends and family as it is a great atmosphere and the staff is professional and polite. Kris answers the phone with a positive attitude and is understanding when I had to cancel /​reschedule. I have yet to get a massage from Rachel but surely will as she is friendly and polite on the phone. Overall if you are able to I would recommend the massage services here. In my opinion Heather is the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of being with.

Lucinda is the best! I go to her for waxing! And she is amazing!!! Very professional, makes you feel comfortable! I love the fact she doesn’t double dip her sticks, very clean environment!

I have been going to emilie rose for about a year now, maybe longer and I have been very pleased every time with my cut/​color and style. I can take in a picture and she is spot on! She is amazing! Always a pleasure coming in and good conversation. I don’t think I would ever let anyone else touch my hair and she is very reasonable priced considering the length of my hair. the day spa! So relaxing

I see Lucinda for waxing… she’s the best!!! I’ve tried lots of salons in YC and they just don’t compare.

My husband made the appointment for me for my birthday, a massage with Rachel and acrylic nails by Kathy. Let me first say that Rachel was fabulous. I only had a ½ hour but it was incredible. Needless to say, next time it will be for an hour. As for my nails, Kathy seemed to know exactly what I wanted. I explained I’m a legal assistant and network administrator so not only do I need to type very fast, but I work with computers and servers all day so I need my nails pretty short but still look nice. In the end they were the nicest I’ve ever had, and I’ve received nothing but compliments since I’ve had them done! Before I left, I booked my next appointment! I’m now a huge fan of the Day Spa!

A few weeks ago I went into this Day Spa and planned a spa day for my Birthday with their stylist Kathie, needless to say I have been looking forward to this spa day since the day I booked it. I even took my birthday off and made the apt for that day… The day prior to my appoint the salon called me cancelled on behalf of Kathie. I have never had a stylist cancel on me, left me scrambling to make spa plans on my birthday. Not Happy and frankly do not want to give them my business again after this. Also after booking this appointment I gave the stylists information to a friend of mine who called her and left her a message to get an appointment and she never even returned her call. It’s a shame too… Luckily I called the Image Salon & Day Spa in a hurry and asked for a next day appointment for cut, color, manicure and a massage and they were able to accommodate me. Hoping I have a great experience their.
