Since we apparently don’t read here in ‘Ol Marysville this is the only non-religious bookstore in the area. Extremely well organized with lots of selection(although there was little or no non-fiction). The store was clean and the woman at the front was fairly friendly. Very quiet and big. I’ll check it out again.

So, I finally re-visited this book store. Sadly, it’s the only book store in the area, but it was a cute little place. I walked in and was greeted by one of the two ladies at the desk. I handed her some books that I had to sell/trade, and she said that she’d be finished looking them over in a few minutes. I browsed the many shelves stocked full of books. The lay out reminded me of a video store, and it was very well organized by category/theme, just like a video store. There was even an Oprah’s Book Club section! I found a few titles that my cousin had recommended(No Country for Old Men, Cat’s Cradle, etc.). I decided to wait on those titles because I haven’t read them yet, and I didn’t want to end up with a book that I didn’t love.(To the library, first!) I left with a Garfield’s 2nd Treasury, from 1983, and store credit. I will definitely be visiting this place again. I hope it stays around for a while. I do enjoy big box stores because of the variety, but a small town book store is awesome, also. You never know what you’ll find. ;o)

If you love reading books and don’t mind gently used books(pretty much every book I encountered looked new!) you definitely need to check out this awesome new bookstore. It just opened recently, and is currently the only bookstore in our area. My mom and I went in and took a look around recently and they have a really big selection of books. Not only do they carry the typical fiction or non-fiction books, they also have a self help section, cookbooks, etc. The prices are really reasonable too! Most of the paperbacks that I saw were about $ 4. Definitely a steal! Also if you have books that you want to get rid of they will buy them from you, or allow you to trade for books you want in the store! I really hope the public keep this book store open. The ladies who own the store are really nice!
