Do not purchase from them… Blacks Appliances in Yreka CA, next to Walmart, sold me a used product that had documented warranty claims from 6 months prior. I believed I was purchasing a new dishwasher from the showroom floor, as I stood there pointing at the one I liked, but after multiple problems, such as a damaged front, missing hoses, no warranty book… I called Maytag Corporate and learned that I actually purchased, at retail price, a used item that had been sold to someone else, had a problem, was sent back to Blacks, and then after repairing the claimed/​warranty item, they sold it to me as NEW. Fn bastards…
They spin’d a tail explaining that the reason the item was not in the original box was because they didn’t trust Maytag and that all of the items received from them were most likely damaged, and therefore they were doing their best to protect me. Wow, these guys are bold on their lies. What they didn’t take into account as they lied to me, was that at the same time, I also purchased a very expensive Maytag broiler/​oven built in range. — I think that’s what it’s called… Regardless, it came completely boxed up, totally factory, yet they didn’t feel obligated to open that box and verify everything was okay, being a Maytag product as well…
The bottom line, is that these people will burn any customer to ensure that they make profit. Even if it’s someone who already spent thousands with them prior to ending that particular relationship. Do yourselves a favor and save the stress. There are way better appliance stores if you are willing to look.
