The Throw Shop

I agree with Dwayne K.‘s review of the Throw Shop, especially with respect to selection/​pricing and the convenience of having a course right outside the door. I don’t know if they were making a Throw Shop/​Pro Shop pun in naming this place, but it definitely is a «pro shop» for DG players. There a few things that Dwayne didn’t mention that I think are worth saying.
First, this place is kinda tricky to get to if you’ve never been there before. Coming down Grove Street, turn into the entrance of the gated Lakeshore Apartments. Make a left at the turnaround before you hit the security gate, and then make an almost immediate right onto the perimeter road that encircles the complex. You will see the Throw Shop straight ahead (almost directly across Grove from the Dairy Mart).
Second, besides being experienced, the staff here is really cool and they will work with you on your technique and answer questions patiently without trying to push some product on you that you may or may not need.
I’d like to see their website improved a bit and maybe offer some classes to beginners, but all in all the Throw Shop is a must for any one into DG.
