My husband and I like the mini Rio salad combo, with a side of Spanish rice and light dressing added to it, plus it includes a drink in the price. It’s tasty, affordable, and the salad is arranged in rows of ingredients — making it visually appealing. Good choice for vegetarians or for those wanting a meat break in their diets. Before we started eating vegetarian style, we would order the«Turkey with a Twist» which is also quite tasty. The décor isn’t great and the salsa is bland, but there is more good than bad here. The employees have never been rude or inattentive, and typically you can order quickly, and get your food quickly.

Stopped here on a lunch break. Being unfamilar with the Ypsilanti area(I have just recently started driving up there for work from Toledo) I thought I would give it a shot. Got the Caesar wrap. It wasn’t terrible, but not great either. Made me very wistful for other places I had been recently(Casa Nueva in Athens OH namely — local organic delicious salsas, oy). The salsa was utterly bland and the wrap was all dressing and little substance. I was not even asked if I wanted veggies on the wrap. I have had better fare with fresher ingredients from Tropical Smoothie Café in Toledo(also a chain), who at least use a crisp romaine and tons of fresh veggies. Rio is not worth it considering the price. Next time I’ll get a TSC wrap to go before leaving town and save it for lunch.

EWWWWWW! Seriously worst food I have ever eaten in my life!!! Visting Ann Arbour I checked out which chains Ohio desn’t have and came accross Rio Wraps. I read about their 2 pound Burrito where you get a free shirt and picture in their hall of fame if you eat it. Figured this was perfect for my husband and with that we went. This location is nicer than the others that share a space with a pizza place but inside it was empty and the fillings looked old and stale. Set up was like Subway and I really wanted to try it so instead of ordering a bunch we got the 3 for $ 3 and got a chicken and a beef taco and a beef taquito. The meat for both was the most disgusting seen I have ever seen/smelled or tasted, no seasoning just a tiny, raunchy sad little taco, we took a bite of each and threw the rest away, left with a sick and nasty taste on our mouths to look for dinner elsewhere.

Went there today for lunch and was greeted by a handsome guy with a nice friendly smile. I told him I had never been to a Rio Wrap before and asked him what he would recommend. He picked out one thing from each column that he liked. I ordered the Holy Moly burrito with the Tomato basil tortilla. I never would have chosen that tortilla, but he told me it was good together and he didn’t lie. The burrito was 6.35 and was big enough for me to take home leftovers and came with some chips and salsa. I guess for 3.99 you can buy a smaller burrito. They have both pub tables with stools and regular tables. The place is about the size of a normal sandwich shop and decorated with a Taco Bell theme. I thought my burrito was very good and I certainly will be stopping there again. It kind of reminds me of a Burrito Beach(Chicago) or a Qdoba.
