Went there with my family of 5 on Saturday, November 14, 2015. The place had about 6 or 7 other tables already eating.
As we helped our sons decide what they were eating. My husband and I, and my 3 boys sat there for about 10 minutes without noticing we hadnt even been acknowledged.
When we were ready to order and looking around for someone to help us, we noticed 3 waitresses standing around washing a wall.
Clearly, that wall was more important than waiting on the 5 of us. We waited 2 more minutes, and then walked out. From the looks of it there were at least 5 waitresses on staff at the time, including the one waiting on the table directly across from us who promptly ignored us as well. Bad service. No excuse.

Horrible service. The waitress ends up dropping a full plate of onion rings all over our table because she was carrying more than she should have. Then when she went to put in another reorder of the onions rings the retarded cooks became upset and complaining because they had to fry up more onion rings. So they ended up burning the second order. Pretty much a very low class place. When I’m in the mood for a coney island I will most definitely will go somewhere else. Won’t be coming here again.

This place is a rockin’! Greeted warmly and staff was very friendly. Enjoyed lemon chicken rice soup and chef’s salad. Will try to fit in some ice cream. Servers very enthusiastic!
Clean restaurant, friendly service, tasty fare, good prices, and convenient location. What more can you ask for? Good spot for regular people. Not for pretentious entitled douchebags.
Will definitely keep coming back! Recommend! I will gladly spend my hard-​earned money here! AKA: «Puting your money where your mouth is»!

No idea what Jacquelyns talking about… this place SUCKS. No silverware to be had… waitress dumps food and totally disappears. The colony dog was so sloppy that it dripped all over the table. The napkins are a joke. no service… no refills… no silverware AND the food sucked.

My favorite coney island in the Ann Arbor/​Ypsi area! The cheese fries are da bomb and the chicken finger pita always comes with a lot of chicken and is delicious! Try it with the gyro sauce! The greek salad is also really good and their breakfast food is really good! They recently added a second part to their menu which I really want to try! It has things like shawarmas and falafel so thats what sets this coney apart! Anyways, service has always been good here and the food always comes really fast making this one of my favorite places to chow on a consistent basis

I ordered the two eggs and bacon with toast. The bacon was over cooked. I sent it back with hesitation. The bacon was full of fat and burnt. I believe the grill wasn’t clean. The server was nice.

Not a good experience compared to past visit. Super busy with only two waitresses. The place is not kid friendly as they don’t offer alternatives to the regular menu, no cereal?! No child size cups and no crayons and color sheets!!! When’s food came (finally) it was not mouth watering, but average and cold. I expect more at a restaurant.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was hopeful that things have changed since my last visit but I was wrong. I ordered soup and the waitress thought it would be genius to hand me the piping hot over over my infant in her car seat and water over my expensive electronics. Lack of refills for the group — no we weren’t needy, I think 1 refill should be provided automatically. The server brought my husband the wrong thing, again. Same old lady server. She needs to be retrained or find a job she is capable of doing. At this point, safety aside for my infant daughter, it’s just comical to experience this.

Best bang for your buck. Got a $ 5 club sandwich cut in quarters just the way it’s best made. They also use turkey slices that are not processed so they flake when you bite into them. Good meal for lunch. Plenty of options as well

I wish I could give this location a good review, however my meal was positively awful. I had ordered the chicken vegi special with a side of hummus. This is my usual order at all Leo’s locations, so I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. The chicken on my plate was dried out and near inedible, the hummus was so salty that it almost burned, this was truly inedible. The dining room itself was nicely lit, and clean. Like I said in the beginning, I wish I could say something nice about my meal…, won’t be returning

My friend and I went here for an evening meal. We always expect certain types of food from a Coney Island, especially Leo’s. It did not disappoint. I usually get a Grilled Chicken salad but I opted for breakfast this time around. i rarely do breakfast so when I do get it i wish to thoroughly enjoy it. The prior week I had been to another location and the breakfast was awful. Leo’s was great. The pancakes were prepared just right. Not dry but fluffy and good. The eggs were done correctly. I get them scrambled with mushrooms, cheese and spinach. The bacon and sausage were also tasty. The meal was also at a great price for the good portions that I received at under $ 10. Leo’s stood up to it’s famous name.

Great portions for the price. Not the best service or food quality. But it’s a big place and it’s easy to get a table at busy times of day. If you just want a lot of cheap diner food for a good price, it’s a good place.

It’s been over a year since I last stepped foot in this location, and boy, have things changed!
To start off with, the new servers are attentive, friendly, and efficient. Definitely an improvement.
The food is also better! I’ve been three times in the past month. The food has been delicious, properly cooked, and I’ve not gotten ill! (Saganaki and a buffalo chicken pita the first time, saganaki and a BLT pita the second time, saganaki and a gyro with added cheese.)
I’ll definitely be returning.

Well, it was okay. My husband and I decided to stop for a late breakfast here. I love to go to Leo’s on Telegraph in Taylor, MI. I have been there several times. I wouldn’t think twice about returning to this one. I see why they have 3 stars. That is an appropriate rating.

Standard greasy spoon Coney Island fare, but the Saganaki Opa keeps me coming back. Also, the quality of food and pricing are fairly aligned. It’s pretty affordable comfort food.
Michigan’s Coney Island diners are a nice change of pace from a Denny’s or Ihop.

Went to Leo’s after a quick shopping trip on Friday night. The special was the gyro for only $ 3.99! Lots of gyro meat and sauce, it was really good for the price! Also had a coney dog which was good as well. I spent $ 6 not including tip for a good, filling meal. Not bad!

This place is great.
Somehow this has become a much too frequent stop for us.
Mainly for breakfast because the breakfast sandwich is solid and the specials on the weekends for breakfast are super cheap and always great. We have had many different servers here and I have to say that every single one has been fantastic. They are always super friendly and helpful. They just seem to really have the customer service thing on lock here and I appreciate that.
They do also make a killer patty melt if you are ever craving one.
