Dreamscapes Salon and Tanning

This place is great! The stylists are skilled at cutting hair, they have decent prices, they are friendly, and have great tanning deals. Absolutely recommend!

I usually go to DIVA nails on Washtenaw in Arbor Land. They don’t require an appointment (take walk ins with minimal, if any wait time) and are insanely fast. Their work is excellent and their prices reasonable.
Well, they had lost power due to heavy storms the night before so I tried Dreamscapes. Not impressed. I just had a toenail polish done and it was $ 12. (DIVA nails only charges $ 10.) Their color options were not great and its only day two of my polish and its already chipping. Polish was left on my skin (around my nail bed). Overall not satisfied. could have done as good of a job (if not better) myself. The young woman who did my toes did file the nails but not enough. I also had to make an appointment and come back an hour later… used to being able to walk in at DIVA.
Very friendly staff but not impressed with the results.

Dreamscapes is an awesome place to go to be pampered! The ladies who work there are all friendly, professional, and do amazing work! I have had nothing but the BEST in a friendly atmosphere where I can get some girl time, and glamour… Love Dreamscapes!

Love this salon. Good prices on cuts/​color/​highlights. It’s always easy to get an appointment. The atmosphere is very chill and informal. Staff will always check and see if you want something to drink. Kim has been taking care of my hair since she was at another salon. She is very precise and can handle my thick, uncooperative hair. Also, the pedicures are excellent and spa-​quality (not a 15 minute fix).

I go to Jamie McDaniel. I’ve been her client for about 4 – 5 years and she is a pro! Her prices are great and she ALWAYS does a top notch job. I highly recommend Jamie to anyone.
I have pretty thick, curly hair and I’ve had a lot of issues with stylists in the past, which is why I am so loyal to Jamie. She is a total sweetheart but most importantly, she is a true artist who can stay ahead of trends.
