Best wine tasting experience, its Not your average wine tasking room it’s better! Very intimate, Jason spent the time explaining and interacting and sipping wine with us. They don’t try to rush you out and make a quick sale. I learned a lot, laughed a lot and will absolutely go back! Ever wine was delicious to top it off

The most amazing time with Jason. Intimate tasting with my group of 8. Fun, laidback, unpretentious atmosphere and I learned so much about wine. Every wine was delicious! I became a member and am excited to go back. Thank you Hopper Creek (and Jason) for such a good time!

Goodness… where to start. We were the last customers of the day i’d say. My 2 aunts and grandmother waited in the car while i ran up to what looked like the front door of a seemingly abandoned building (by abandoned i mean closed not condemned…) I went inside to find Jason, the only one in there… asked if he was closing and he said that he WAS… but could stay for me. I told him there were more ladies with me and he perked up and told us to come in… That was the start of an AMAZING EXPERIENCE in wine tasting. I’m pretty sure no one get’s this type of treatment on a regular basis in Napa and for us (being that it was our 1^st time tasting) we could not have stumbled onto a better place! It was PERFECTION… we were treated to a wide variety of wines and given ample sized tastings… he must have opened every single bottle of wine they sell… which was good because i ended buying a couple bottles and my grandma bought a whole case… We ended up getting pretty tipsy and winded up on the back patio drinking wine socially (totally after closing) with Jason. The owner showed up (or his grandson) and he was super nice as well and we ended up getting our Tasting for free… we were very lucky indeed. However we did end up buying a lot of wine, which I hope makes up for the freebie! We even took Jason out to get a burger with us afterwards! He was such a great guy and we enjoyed his recommendations and his hilarity! I want to come again and again to this place! LOVED IT! Also brought some of the Merlot to a dinner party at my older friend’s house who is a sort of connoisseur of fine wines… he was all over my HOPPER CREEK Merlot! He LOVED IT, so that’s a good testament i’d say… he’s a BIG WINE SNOB. I’m just saying…

This is the best Wine tasting setup I ever experienced ! this is not your typical vineyard with bells and whistles but you can enjoy your time to the fullest over here with a friendly staff and ambience. Unlike other wine tasting places, here you can just relax like in your living room and enjoy the conversation while having wine. Jason was the person who was giving us wine tasting tour. He answered all our questions, and was kind enough to provide me with a sandwich on seeing me not having lunch with the rest of the group during the meal break (poor planning on my part to not get the lunch), this I call going out of the way to take care of customers !
Definitely recommend you if you just want to relax and have a good time tasting wines.

We came here on a wine tour and it was probably my favorite stop of the day. The wines were good and our host was entertaining and knowledgable. The atmosphere of the tasting room was very nice as well. A very nice part of our Napa experience.

I visit allota wineries as a private guide. This place is one of a kind. Rarely is a winemaker pouring your flight. Dan is so knowledgable plus so modest. I learn something new about tasting techniques every time I visit here. Hands down the most chill and unpretentious tasting room in Napa. Shorts and flip flops welcome.

Loved our time there… Dan is great and fun to learn about wine from. Delicious Cabernet, had to buy the $ 100 bottle… Beautiful setting looking over the vineyards, and loved sitting inside in comfortable seating trying the wines… would go back again.

Very nice staff. Knowledgable and friendly. Offered ton of information but we were not impressed with wine. Asked for a glass of water and had none. Cool stop but nothing to brag about.

Learned the most at this winery, tips and tricks about wine from Dan! Dan’s the man with the personality– very easy to talk to. Sat out on the balcony and did our wine tasting, very enjoyable.
It turns out when you come by for a tour during the fall months– you might even have the chance to stomp around on some grapes!

A winery host that openly drinks beer while he pours wine? A «chili-​dog» that makes itself at home with all the guests? An extremely relaxed atmosphere overall? If this isn’t your glass of wine, don’t bother coming here. If you are adventurous enough to enjoy yourself while drinking wine and not expecting chandeliers, leather couches, and «pristine» atmosphere, this is your kind of place. A very relaxed winery experience after dealing with heavy traffic, high volume tasting rooms, and over zealous sales from other wineries. This was a great ending to the day.
Oh, and they have outstanding wines as well (which is the primary reason for visiting anyway).
