I just ate there 6−9−16 and it was good the things that I had… steak and the fruit but all the other items looked fresh. The bathroom was clean and the place was not crowded at this time. I had the banana pudding for my dessert LOVEIT. $ 15 for a choice of a bunch of stuff try what u like ir try it all… today was nice, and the staff seemed like they wanted to be there.

Stop in at 7:10 for breakfast and they are closed. So much for a breakfast buffet. Can’t believe that they are not open.

Today is fathers day and I thought I would treat myself to the buffet. it was soon after paying, and walking through the door that I remembered the last bad experience I had here, shame on me. That was maybe 3 months ago, and things haven’t gotten any better, if anything worse. First off there is no carving station, and as someone pointed out most things are either mislabeled or not labeled at all. The soup looked like it had been left out all night, and this is only 12 noon. The salad bar looked like crap, the desert selection has been drastically down sized, and what was offered looked unappealing. Bottom line, after looking around I just had to leave, and move on because this place is a big disappointment, and I will be sure not to return, and will warn those considering a visit. I was a big fan of the Corral at one time, but never again. I was disappointed when they closed their doors not long ago, but now I hope that they just give in to the inevitable, and close for GOOD.

I went just last night with my family of seven to this establishment. We were driving back from a family vacation and were looking for a place that everyone could enjoy… This was not that place. To start off with I had pulled pork and a dinner roll. The pork was mediocre at best and the roll was absolutely vile, it was soggy and undercooked. Then I had spaghetti, the noodles were short and thick and the sauce tasted more like watered down salsa. After that I decided to have some ice cream for dessert, it was hardly frozen and melted into soup in my bowl as I was eating it. On top of the grotesque dinner, the waiter we had did not show. I had to go to the register and ask for the check, good thing none of us needed refills. In conclusion I do not recommend this eating establishment. It was definitely not worth the $ 80 my family and I paid to eat there.

Service was friendly fast and efficient. Amy took very good care of us around noon. Food slightly under mediocre, but the smiles on everyone’s face and friendly attitude made up for that.

Kids got gift certificates from school for good grades. The Mongolian grill was terrible. Everything was wilted and looked like it was out all day. They were out of a lot of food. No cones for ice cream. Corn was frozen together. We won’t be back. Not even if we get gift cards. :(

I’m on a buffet kick lately, so I thought I’d give this place another shot after my last visit about 2 years ago. Besides… I heard this place has all new blah, blah, blah. I was impressed with the large selection of food, including a Mongolian grill section, a meat carving section, and the popular chocolate fountain. The food quality, however, was not so good. Pot roast and fried fish were way too salty. The mac and cheese was grainy/gritty, like the cheese sauce wasn’t mixed well. I’m not going to go into greater detail, other than to say the only things I liked were the hush puppies, and the grilled corn-on-the-cob. Everything else was sub-par, including desserts. Also, many of the items on the buffet were either mislabeled, or not labeled at all. My waitress wasn’t much better. She introduced herself and said she would«be taking care of me.» Then I never saw her again. Never collected my used plates, never asked if I was ok, or needed a refill. The only reasons this place got 2 stars instead of one is because the ladies at the entrance(one got my iced tea, the other was the cashier) were very friendly… and the hush puppies and grilled corn-o-t-c.

One star is a stretch but u have to give it something. Typical buffet food, no flavor, lukewarm, etc. I went for the Prime Rib and what a joke. It doesn’t look anything like the commercial, and the people look like their at a hog troff! Maybe one step above Ponderosa but not far above. Will not go back and wouldn’t advise anyone who still has taste buds to do so either!

Located on Hwy 244 in Boardman, Ohio you’ll find every restaurant chain imaginable. This is yet another. I’m a buffet freak, so whenever I have a chance to hit a buffet, I’m there! Golden Corral is usually a favorite of mine as I’ve found most to be inexpensive, clean, well stocked with fresh food, and the staff to be friendly and attentive. This particular Golden Corral is a dismal disappointment! The salad bar was a total wreck and the veggies were not fresh. 90% of the food was over cooked from being under the heat lamps way too long. The place was filthy. I ate what I could find, those few morsels which looked reasonably fresh and not over cooked, dried out to a crisp or burned beyond recognition. The pickings were slim, at best. The only bright spot in my «culinary experience» here was my server who was very nice and attentive. I felt so sorry for her misfortune of working in Golden Corral Hell that I suggested she find a better place to wait tables where she could actually make tip money. It was woefully apparent to me she was unhappy working here as were the rest of the harried looking servers who were glumly busing their tables and working their asses to the bone for zero to little tip money. I would not recommend eating here unless you want to be sick the next day… like I was. Dine here at your own risk. You’ve been warned!

This is the absolute BEST buffet I’ve ever been to! Regular restaurant quality with all you can eat! Normally I would never eat seafood at a place like this, but it looked so good that I had to try it. I’m glad I did because it was like eating at Olive Garden! The buttery Shrimp over the creamy Italian style noodles with fresh cherry tomatoes, DELICIOUS! I live 40 minutes away, but it is most definitely worth the drive once in a while. The deserts were great, too! I had red velvet cake and mini macaroons. Highly recommended.

We go to this buffett as my kids think it is the best food ever. Of course it’s not but we go anyway to make them happy. We went yesterday as my son turned 8-years old and he requested that this is where we take him for his birthday dinner. Not Chuck E. Cheese but Golden Corral. I don’t know… Anyway, the food was typical chain buffett food. Not much flavor but at least hot and not luke warm. I will say that you should stay away from their seafood as it was blah… I tried their new item«calamari» and it was terrible. If they make imitation calamari like they do crab-this was it. The deep fried catfish was nasty and I didn’t even get the courage to taste their other new item-crab cakes… I was too afraid. The desserts here are still the best part in my opinion. plenty of cakes, cookies and of course ice cream. You can’t screw this up I guess. The place is clean and the wait staff has been attentive of all of our visits. We will continue to visit this place periodically as it makes my kids happy.
