Extremely disappointed by the level of service from this establishment. As a business, I would assume you’d want to keep customers as opposed to loose them. Apparently they don’t believe so. I called to book a venue for a wedding ceremony, told the girl my date which she said was available. Told her I 100% wanted to book the place and place a deposit the very next day. Was told I couldn’t because their event person was on vacation but to wait till she returned and I could make arrangements. I waited and waited for the phone call and then finally got fed up and called them. Was told right away that«unfortunately they had no openings» yet I couldn’t book when I called a few days prior? So I asked to speak with someone else. The event person comes on and I tell her how I called maybe 6DAYS prior to book the location and was told she would contact me with the information to do so. She said she had just booked the venue this morning and there was a miscommunication and that was that. I told her I didn’t understand how that was possible and the only thing she could come up with was how about Friday… Upon reading the information provided the first time I called. I held that date for 10 days before I had to pay my deposit. Considering it hadn’t even been a week yet, they gave my date out from underneath me, and wouldn’t even let me put a deposit down. I was extremely interested in getting married at Stambaugh and can’t believe they would treat a potential customer that way. We talked about moving our date, but I will not change my date and pay them money after how I was treated.

Beautiful auditorium – amazing acoustics, breathtaking architecture. Best seat for concerts is the front row of the balcony!

Beautiful location but they overbook the place. We were on the third floor and were forced to send all of our 200 strong wedding guests down ONE elevator as opposed the stairs to keep from disturbing another wedding taking place on the floor below. It took forever to get all the guests out and left you feeling like the«help» that had to take the service elevator to stay out of the way of the fancy party taking place around you.
