Good. But squinchy for the price. They’ve really pulled back on the amount of meat and potato salad they give you. Way, way too pricey. WIll not be going back.

One of the best delis in Youngstown! Amazing soups and sandwiches. The staff is friendly and there’s never a long wait. Its one of the only local places that has captured the charm of NYC lunch spot. The addition of beer on tap a major plus!

Hands down the best Reuben you will ever have in your life. The corned beef is the best in the world! Along with the perfectly«sour» sour kraut and fresh rye bread. The portions are fair for a deli restaurant with the option for double meat. I always have to have my kravitz Reuben and a grape pop! A Youngstown tradition.

I obviously like this place, but I just had what has to be the best Pastrami I’ve ever. It was Romanian Pastrami, which only means one thing to me… Delicious Flavor. Oh, and same great soups, slaw and service!

Jack and his folks make the best deli sandwiches in Youngstown area. Their Corned beef is excellent and their roast beef is great as well Even Santa likes a good sandwich. The elves love the bakery goodies. Their soups are always great too. If you like a good Reuben, this is where to get it.

The best corned beef around. Really quality meats. Very satisfied with my meal and would definitely recommend. I ate at the Carnegie Deli and the corned beef wasn’t as good as at this place.

Had the pleasure of eating here with a large group(20+). The staff were accommodating and the menu was great. Don’t miss the dessert case — lots of great items, but the peanut butter cookies in particular are delicious.

We used to eat here when they were at the Poland library(not sure if they still are… We haven’t lived in Ohio for a couple years now). This place was amazing. The turkey Reuben is absolutely amazing. The gyro was as well. We tried to eat here as often as possible. Loved it!

So, to be fare I am not comparing this place to other local places. I am not from the area so this may be Ritz Carlton of Deli’ around here. But… First, I like the inside. it is very humble, but warm. The staff is okay. Not very engaging but they did not slap me, so that is always a good thing. Took our order and brought our food, nothing more, nothing less. Their Bagels are fantastic, but I am not sure if they make them themselves or not. Okay, okay… on to business. We went for the corned beef. I was thinking about the hash but asked if were more meat or potato. Very dryly she responded, potato. So off to the hash omelet. I have had these at many places. So I am expecting a folded omelet filled with corned beef(the meat) and some cheese. I get a round, thin scrambled egg with some corned beef sprinkled in. It was a horrible experience and that dish should be removed from the menu. It insulted omelets and corned beef all over America. I am pretty sure I ever heard cows and Chickens in Canada say, ‘What the hell is that?“ So, bottom line. Want a bagel, go for it. What a really Deli meal, … how far is the next town?

This place is about 3 miles from my house and I have eaten there many times… Simply great classic pastrami and corn beef sandwiches with several variations. Excellent quality meats!!! And very reasonable prices, if this place was in chi town or New York, you would pay twice as much for this kind of quality!

Okay SO lets just jump right into it here! First of all I have been to this Deli for many years. They have great bagels, always have, corned beef is tasty, sandwiches do not disappoint, so that’s why when I decided I wanted a Reuben for a late lunch on St Patricks day, I headed for Kravitz Deli. It was crammed with people waiting in line, which I have seen on numerous occasions at Jack’s Deli in Cleveland, so I jumped in line for the wait. I ordered my Reubin, and a loaf of Rye bread and got into the waiting line. I didn’t check my change, but thought it was sparse and figured I’d check the receipt when I got my order. Name was called and I grabbed my bag and headed to the car. Upon looking at my receipt, it said«**Reuben 2 go St Pats**» $ 13.99! ! ! ! $ 13.99? Really? and they list it as St Pat’s? When their regular sandwich is $ 7.99 and the loaded is $ 9.99 and I double checked it on their online menu? Talk about ripping people off! And to top it off the Swiss cheese was almost non existent, the meat was like their $ 7.99 sandwich, and it was ice cold! Honestly, the next time I want a Reuben i’m going to drive the hour to Jack’s Deli because I know it will be hot, the swiss will be easily recognizable, and they even give you cole slaw, and«free» pickles. Chips and a pickle and a cold sandwich! Honestly Kravitz”s, SHAMEONYOU! ! ! Y TOWN needs some more competition for you I think.

I had a very appetizing meal at Kravitz. The food was wholesome and fresh tasting with authentic ingredients. The ambiance was slightly shabby, but the actual food made up for it.

Great Jewish deli! Pastrami sandwich was unbelievable! Corned beef looked amazing too. Potato salad was good but who had room to eat it? Portions are beyond generous and prices are low for the quality and quantity. I am not from the area but this will be a staple when I come through town. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

Im a foodie so I ordered both«jack takes over» and classic reuben. The 5 Stars is bc of the JTO– it is $ 12 but fantastic… Im not a big sandwich guy but it is great. Hot and toasty. Excellent tasting pastrami with melted cheese. It is a feel good/good decision food choice. Youll be satisfied. Side dish is included although very small. Coleslaw was good. Mac salad was ok. Reuben– very good, 4⁄5. Ill definitely be back to try some other sandwiches and the JTO again.

I have a few notes here. 1. There isn’t much competition in the Youngstown-Warren area, unfortunately. 2. It’s a bit pricey, but considering the value/quantity you get, it’s a great deal. All of it. 3. Very nice people. The only«complaint» I would have is that I live in Warren, and Kravitz is half an hour away. I give it 5 stars because I find the food legitimately good and the people legitimately nice and courteous. I’d give it 4, but I can’t blame Kravitz for being the only deli around. The only one I can compare it to is «Jake’s» in downtown Cleveland, right by Tower City, which is-in my opinion– high praise. I see people complain about the meats(specifically the corned beef) being«salty», but what do you expect from cured meats? Are you serious?(Also, that’s not sodium, that’s delicious goodness invading your soul) They’ve never advertised as being the healthiest option out there, although they do offer healthy options on the menu. Needless to say, if there was a Kravitz in Warren, I’d have gout by the time I was 30. Their food is delicious. Only wish I could be there more often. Their cheesy potato soup is delicious. The Reubens are delicious. Even something as simple as a hot dog is delicious. The environment reaches out to the middle class area very well. They also cater!

Delicious sandwiches and friendly staff. Definitely stop here for better food than subway or fast food. They make their own meats and salads.

I’ve been here several times. I’ve had the lamb on weck, and the XL Reuben, and they were both good. Then I had the«Tom and Jeff.» That was really good. It’s a kicked-up Reuben — grilled corned beef, grilled sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on a toasted everything bagel. 1000 Island dressing on the side to top it off. Sandwiches come with a pickle wedge, and a choice of potato chips or coleslaw. I also recommend adding a bowl of Italian Wedding soup, as it’s good as well. They also have a deli counter, and fresh baked bagels and pastries and cookies.
