The BEST!!! I have been eating this pizza since I was a kid! Nothing comares… there’s just something about the sauce and the cheese… and the peppers, this pizza is to die for-​I always get the plain cheese with peppers! Best in Youngstown!

I am 57 and have been eating Cornersburg P in Cornersburg my entire life. They now do, in fact, take plastic. They still don’t deliver, but that is alright for me really. I live in Boardman and they wouldn’t come out this far, and I would never eat ANY Cornersburg Pizza from any of the other shops. Exceptional! Delish!

One thing Youngstown does as good as anyone is pizza, and Cornersburg is a perfect example. Their sauce, simply put, is amazing. I keep it simple, pepperoni and green peppers, and am never disappointed. My wife loves this place so much I have to get a pizza and carry it home (about a 5 hour drive) whenever I’m in the area. The only bad thing about this place is I eat the pizza too fast and can’t enjoy it the next day!

Been eating here since early teen years. Back then they also sold hot subs. Since then, been through a lot of hands, but the crust and sauce have retained their perfect (to me) pizzaocity.
Twelve inch. Sauce with peppers. Crumbled sweet sausage and mushrooms on top.
It is a unique crust that I have never gotten anywhere else. Kind of bready, thick, chewy, lots of air pockets. Anyone who like the stuff (and the one in Cornersberg is the best, to me…) can I.D. the pizza by the crust alone.
Now, what truly SUX is, besides my Mom, no one else, not my wife, none of my friends, like the pizza the way I order it above. I mean, that is incomprehensible to me. They are the only place I know of that serves the sweet sausage. And they crumble it up and spread it over the whole pie. I love the stuff. Oh well…

My favorite pizza shop that I always go to when I return to youngstown. I grew up loving it and the quality has not changed for the 30 years I have been eating it. Love the sauce and just the right size crust!
Best pizza in town (next to my late Grandma’s Briar hill!).
I just wish I could figure a way to get it sent to Florida!

Delicious! Some of the best pizza in Ytown! Never been disappointed any of the 100+ times I’ve had pizza from here during my lifetime. The dough, the sauce, all of it is SO good. Have yet to find anything comparable anywhere else I’ve ever been to Cornersburg’s unique and delicious taste.
They also have great wings!

What a better way to start Unilocaling than to write my first review about the Pizza of my youth? While I don’t live in the area anymore, I try to go back and grab a pie from Cornersburg whenever I’m in town. They are a takeout place only. Let’s see, how do I define their pizza? It’s sort of Chicago style, but with a Youngstown flair. A lot of sauce — probably the best Pizza sauce ever made — with the right amount of cheese and a great dough. I’ve always gone for the onions, and no-​green peppers. They also make a killer Bryer Hill Pizza… that’s a pizza that is sprinkled with olive oil and Parmesan cheese, no Mozzarella. The place is been in the same family for at least two generations, and looks like it’s going to be another generation. Simply awesome pizza.
