Decided to try this place with a BOGO coupon(which is good because I’d NEVER pay their ridiculous prices) and got the vodka pasta with meatballs. The sauce was ok but it tasted store bought, not homemade. Tons of unnecessary seasoning on it too making it worse. The rolls we had were also ok but they were covered in a ton of garlic which makes me dread to think what any other sauce might’ve tasted like. Anyway, all around is was a «just ok» experience but with Jimmy’s a matter of a few minutes away with better and cheaper food there’s really almost no reason to eat here.

Never had anything short of a good experience, over 5+ visits. Service is always relatively fast and attentive. They have delicious garlic table rolls and an Italian herb oil dip for them. Menu items are consistently tasty; however I admittedly have only ever gotten their specialties: the cavatelli, the fried cheese block, and the signature salad. I can strongly recommend any of those.

My mom and I decided to give Chad Anthony’s a shot tonight because we were tired of going to your typical corporate restaurants. I looked the menu up online and it looked and sounded great. Im not one of those people to judge décor of a restaurant usually but it looked more like a sports bar than an italian grille or restaurant(definitely not a big deal though). Our waitress was okay but not very personable. Didnt say hello, didnt introduce herself, just came over and said«are you ready to order.» We ordered stuffed hot peppers for an appetizer, which i usually love. These were mediocre at best. The meat filling was so bland i added a ton of parm cheese to give it some type of flavor. And the pepper was so overcooked i think they cooked the spicyness out of it. And they were tiny. My mom ordered chicken alfredo that tasted like heavy cream and i ordered chicken broccolini that literally looked like they dumped a whole bag of frozen broccoli(that was mushy) on top. The pasta was overcooked and it tasted like chicken broth. It was 6pm and we were starving and havent eaten all day so we ate what we could. Im not one to complain or send food back because ive worked in restaurants all my life and i know restaurants have off days. But i hope that wasnt their best because it was just no good. Im willing to try the austintown location because ive heard better things about it. Also ive read a review about them running out of product alot and today i overheard at 2 separate tables a server telling their table they were out of something. I just feel like alot of the privately owned restaurants in this area need to step their game up. Some people are given an amazing opportunity to open up their own restaurant and they need to showcase some talent. Be proud to represent your restaurant not only by looks but by how your food tastes. It should be consistent everytime and if i go to youngstown to eat, it should taste the same if i go to another city if you have more than one restaurant.

Brier hill is terrible… Tones of garlic on everything they make. So unless you enjoy sleeping on the couch at night, don’t go there.

I’ve dined here twice. First time they were out of basic pizza ingredients like pepperoni and cheese so I had a brier hill pizza. Bland and tasteless. Wife likes to keep coming here for some reason, second time I had a buffalo chicken salad. Menu said iceberg and romaine, it only had romaine. Again, bland and tasteless. Expensive for what it is. Service was average. I see no reason to return.

i tried this restaurant for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Contrary to what the other reviewers experieinced, I had nothing but good service and the food was very good. Actually, I was amazed at the size of the portions. I ordered the crab meat stuffed flounder which came with a huge side of macaroni & cheese, side salad and a half onion loaf. They also gave me 2 garlic rolls. There was enough food for 3 meals. When I entered the restaurant, I expected to see it half emptied but it was bussling with what appeared to be a lot of satisfied customers. I would not hesitate to go again.

This was not a good visit. You have to wait to be seated and if the waitress is involved in a personal conversation, even though she has looked you right in the eye, you will wait until she is good and d@mned ready to seat you. We arrived right around 2pm on a weekday so it was not crowded at all. I ordered the all-you-can-eat soup & salad as well as their mozzarella stuffed meatballs. The meatballs were almost tasteless and stuffed with cheap, plastic tasting mozzarella. I believe they forgot to add spices to the salad dressing for what used to be called the Antone’s salad. I actually ordered the tomato basil soup but the waitress, we will call her«just wait», brought me wedding soup instead. Little did I know what a favor she was doing me until on my refill she brought me tomato basil soup that had either been scorched or it was just bad soup. Needless to say I have no plans to go back.
