This place was good. On a Saturday night in January we had to wait only about 10 minutes. The worst complaint we had was the chili was lukewarm, but tasty. But everything else was good. We had: cheese fries, sirloin tips, ribeye, sides included steamed broccoli, wild rice, fried okra. It was all cooked well and tasty. I’m used to a thicker steak, but it worked. Excellent au jus, which we ordered for fun. The bread is yummy. Kendra was a great server, attentive but unobtrusive. An owner or manager came to check on our food, and that was nice. We will return.

My wife and I ate here right after it opened and were not impressed. However, it was new and maybe not on its game yet, so we decided recently to give Brother’s another chance. What a mistake! We were promptly seated, though had we arrived 10 minutes later, we’d have had to wait for at least 30 min. to get a table. Our server was friendly, but this seems to be the extent of his skill at table. We ordered the fried ravioli appetizer. 20 minutes later, mozzarella cheese sticks were delivered to our table. We sent it back and then waited another 15 minutes for the very bad ravioli. Then — nothing. We waited and waited. Nearly an hour after we arrived, our meals were delivered — two other couples received their meals before us even though tehy arrived well after us. My wife had ordered the smothered chicken thinking that it would be, well, «smothered.» She got a small, dry, tough little boneless chicken breast with a couple of canned mushrooms and«smothered» in cheap cheddar cheese. Her steamed broccoli was literally rotten. My BBQ sandwich was cold. Not just cold because it sat there too long waiting to be delivered, but refrigerator cold. When the food was delivered, we asked the server to prepare our check and gave him our credit card, since we were now out of time. When we saw the sorry«food» we had been served, we pushed out plates away without eating a single bite. We immediately complained to the server, who looked at us as if we were out of our minds. He could not have cared less that he had served us food that would have caused the health department to clear the dining room and shut the place down. He didn’t offer to allow us to speak to the manager or to comp our meal. So we paid nearly $ 30 waited for an hour for for rotten broccoli and cold pork. Never again. I’m beginning to see that a restaurant can get rave reviews on Unilocal and still be very bad. There is no way this restaurant should get more than one or two stars from anyone.

Very good food. I ordered the blackened trout which was cooked perfectly and the spices were not overpowering. I chose the green beans and cucumber slaw for my sides and they were good also. Excellent meal. I would eat here again if in the area.

We ate here on a Sunday night. The menu had several options to choose from for whatever you’re in the mood for. The rolls they bring out are yummy and come with cinnamon butter. I went with the Spinach and Feta Chicken and was very impressed! It was very delicious and reasonably priced! Chicken and 2 sides for $ 8.99. I did go with the Fried Pickles, which is a Special side, so it was a $ 1.75 more. The portions are a plenty though, I had a bowl full of Fried Pickles, which come with ranch for dipping. My other side was their macaroni and cheese that was very good. You can tell they use mustard in the recipe but it’s just a faint hint, which I love. My husband went with the Half Filet of Trout. He had not eaten trout in years, so the he asked the waitress and she recommended fried or blackened. He went with blackened and after adding some salt enjoyed it. He also got the macaroni and cheese and liked it. His second side was their broccoli and he said it was steamed just right. The décor and atmosphere of the place is very welcoming and inviting. The waitress wasn’t over friendly, but she was polite. I have recommended this place to several family members already. They surrounding area is beautiful.

A pleasant surprise! Took an impromptu drive to the mountains after my husband and I got off early one Friday night. Decided we wanted to go to Young Harris Planetarium. Stopped here for dinner and was blown away! The location overlooks a beautiful mountain side. I recommend asking for a table next to the windows. Service was quick and very pleasant. We had Fried Green Tomatoes for our app and they were perfect! And Huge! Fresh and not frozen. We both ordered steaks, my husband the ribeye and myself the bacon wrapped filet. Both the steaks and the potatoes were huge and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be going back!

My husband and I were in north Georgia on business and went to Brother’s for supper. The food was DELICIOUS and plentiful. We ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks as an appetizer and tbey were the best I’ve ever had. The yeast rolls with honey butter melted in my mouth. He had hamburger steak with slaw and macaroni and cheese. He said it was great but his hamburger steak was just a little over done. I had the smothered chicken with mashed potatoes and fried green tomatoes. I had to pay extra for the fried green tomatoes but they were totally worth it. Everything I had was wonderful. Will definitely go back if I’m in the area again.

Been here before but first time I write a review. Couple friend of ours invite us to celebrate Wife birthday. Place is nice on top of a mountain facing Brasstown Resort n the view is relaxing. To begin try their Fry Green Tomatoes, GOOD then we order the Tilapia fish fillet(we split the order n came with 2 fillets) with two sides(sweet potatoes fry’s n Wild Rice) that plate was Real Good To. Celebrating a Birthday the restaurant give a complementary dessert n a group of Servers sang the birthday song, that was KOOL on their part. By the way the desert was Bread Pudding a la mode, We enjoy it to the Max. Good to be back at this place :-)

We visited the Young Harris, GA area over Christmas 2014. We visited the Brothers at Willow Ranch on the last night. What a disappointment… that we weren’t able to visit more. The service was OK, but the food was excellent. I had the fresh NC trout which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the pork chops which were so moist. Definitely will visit again when in the area. Suggest that you try it out if you are within an hour’s drive. You won’t regret it.

My family of 30 had a party last year near thanksgiving and the service and food was excellent. We’re planning a return trip again this year. Last year wasn’t our first visit but it was worthy of feed back on Unilocal
