I had stopped going to the Kroger noted in the address here, due to very poor customer service. They never had any short lines and instead of someone opening an extra line, I had someone standing there more than once telling me that I could use the self-check out.(Well no kidding). Problem: I refuse to use self-checkout, and it’s not out of laziness or because I don’t know how. It’s because too many jobs are going to the ways-side due to automated things. Last time they did this I had a container of water, and when they pulled it again, I just sat the water down and left for another store. I had never returned again as there are multiple grocery store options in this specific area. If your employees are milling around instead of assisting customers then I will go somewhere else. Please, I am a nurse, I am on my feet all day just like the cashiers, and I have to kiss *ss all day too, as our scores are based on patient happiness and likely hood to recommemd. So yes, I am 40 years old and there was a time when businesses ensured customers are treated like customers. Move forward to now, with their new, bigger, nicer Kroger which had opened up right by their old one, near Kmart. I have been feeling like they had made a huge improvement recently and was very happy with their new store. You could really see they had focused on service when they first opened. Unfortunately, today, I was a little annoyed. I researched the issue and found that I may have been in the wrong, but I will say that I. 40 years of shopping never had this experience so it was quite off-putting. The issue I am talking about is whether or not to unload your basket at the check-out line. Previously, I had always always based whether to unload the basket at each individual store by whether there was a space at the front bottom floor of the conveyer belt for empty baskets. Today, there was not. Therefore, I placed the hand-basket on the conveyer. The cashier(Annette), told me to unload my basket and just stood there. I was pretty shocked. To be honest I had never had a cashier tell me to do this. I did as she asked and keft the basket there on the belt, as there was no place to put the basket. I think that annoyed her too. But sorry, there is no place to put the basket! I get that some people find customers putting their baskets on the conveyer as rude(I had never realized this until today, nor ever had a cashier do what she did today). Like I said, each store is different and I had based whether to put the basket on the belt by whether there was a place to put the basket or not. I have been to grocery stores that keep the baskets at the end of the check-out line under the bags/sacs and that the cashiers routinely empty baskets and place them there once finished with your basket. I have lost faith in humanity. I am convinced I will spend my last days of life in an extended care facility or nursing home with caregivers that toss my body around like sacs of potatoes. I don’t think I can handle this farce of Kroger again. 3 strikes and you are out.

Not much to say, the only Kroger in the area, but just not worth it… This is an older store that has not been kept up so it’s extremely dirty, and unorganized. It makes me very uneasy to buy my food here is it is not clean out front it is probably not clean behind the scenes either. Something to think about

Probably one of the best grocery stores in the area when you look at a combination of size, selection and prices. They have a very large selection of produce, and the quality is always pretty good. Their beer cooler is only bested by the Farm Fresh on the other side of the parking lot. The deli is a bit limited on selections, but their take and bake pizzas really is great, and the staff are always really friendly and helpful.

I have taken a shine to this Kroger. Their staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean, well lit, and easy to get around in. The construction noise, in the parking lot, of the Fuel Center being constructed, is music to my ears. Their prices are a tad on the high side, but you can say that about everyone else. We heavily shop their ad’s, and for the most part, are able to find what we need. At times(say during Senior Day) the store will be picked clean, and you have to rain check, or return visit. Kroger is my go to store. Seconded by Farm Fresh. We get general items, if needed at either Game’s Farmer’s Market or Walmart. I darken Food Lion’s door for only two items. I am surprised with the remodel that is going on, at the K Mart site(A place I never enter) that this store is not being upgraded to a Marketplace. Shopping is shopping, one could say. Shopping here, is, while not a pleasure, certainly is not a trouble. Recommended.

At long last, we were able to visit one of the stores of this famous supermarket chain. After taking a photo outside, we wandered in and we were not disappointed. We found a lot of items we wanted to buy but the need of a membership card to receive the discounts disappointed us. Fortunately, we were still able to purchase some inexpensive canned soup that was cheaper than all the other grocery stores in the area so we left quite happy.

This was my first time going to a Kroger store. It’s a very small compared to other stores, but it was very clean. I really liked the fact that they had all the organic foods in one aisle and not spread across the store… after I found the aisle. A friend of mine swears by this place and I can see why with the freebie coupons she had. I hope to be back to shop the entire store soon.

I love Kroger… especially the prices and the cleanliness. Let’s face it, when it comes to prices, Wal-Mart is hard to beat, but Kroger comes pretty close. If you have a Kroger card, the prices are low enough to compete with WM and you can avoid all the people and the overall headache that comes with shopping there. The pharmacy is ok, too… just double check with them to see if your prescription is ready… I’ve had a couple problems with the automated service calling to tell me I have a prescription ready to pick-up, when it was not.

No matter what, I just keep coming back. Hard to beat Kroger for a good shopping trip. I am sad there is really only this one store in the vicinity. The actual building is a little on the small side compared to most newer Kroger stores. I feel like it is often a little tight to get around when there is any appreciable amount of shoppers. This store has a nice produce section, good fresh meats, and bakery. I do, however, dislike their frozen section. It has these big 360 degree coolers and I always have to go around and around trying to find things! I like that they give gas rewards– you can redeem them at Shell stations. Sad they don’t have any actual Kroger stations in the area where you can get up to $ 0.50 per gallon off. Instead we’re limited to a measly $ 0.10 at Shell, which seems like a wash because Shell is always higher, but that is another review! Kroger has also been sending me these packets of coupons for things we typically buy; a lot of which are free things. Awesome! They also have WAY more online coupons than others, like Food Lion who only seems to promote their store brand. Regardless, as much as shopping is a pain, Kroger seems to really help me out more than the others!

First of all, it’s not a pharmacy. It’s a grocery store with a pharmacy in it. I drive past two Food Lions to go here because it’s markedly less ghetto, but the prices aren’t ridiculous. They have a neat program where you can go online and load coupons onto your shopper card that automatically come off when you check out. You can usually find really good deals this way(and sometimes even get completely free items), but far too often are these items are out of stock or not even carried by the store. But all in all, it’s a decent grocery store.

I love this place, large variety of foods from any rim of the world. If there is something that your local grocery store does not have, there is a good chance this store has it. Store is clean, shelves are well stocked, lighting is good. The produce, seafood, meat and wine selection is awesome. It is unfortunate there are not more Kroger’s around this area. Whenever I’m making an exotic meal, I will get my ingredients here. Prices are a little stiff but if you got a Kroger Card you will get a decent deal. Ill be back.
