I am a wedding planner in the area and I absolutely love working with Colonial Dj’s! I recommend them to all my brides and I have never had a bad experience yet. At the last wedding we did together everyone was up, filled the dance floor, having a great time and got really upset when the night had to end.

Superb job working with the owner, Jeff Bristow, last night. I’ve used Colonial DJs in the past and knew what what level of service to expect. Again, he delivered on this occasion. This time around, I wanted a few extras from typical DJ services for my party. In particular, we wanted a casino theme. They brought along life-​sized dice as part of the entrance, roulette, craps (the party favorite), black jack tables, and a few slot machines. Jeff was fun on the mic and even had some of my clients dancing (when our intention was to have some background music as part of the event).
Very please and look forward to using him again!

I attended a retirement ceremony this past weekend and we were disappointed. Our dj was Dj Howard and he did not DJ at all. All he did was play 30% of «some» of the playlist we provided. Knowing professional djs of my own Dj Howard is not a real disc jockey. In my experience a «disc jockey» knows how to MC a party and get the people moving. One of our guest ended up being the MC. He also did not mix or transition any of the songs on our playlist. He played Milli Vanilli! OMG who does that. That was not one of our songs. He let every song play until the end. Overall his professionalism was great but I’d skip on paying $ 700 for this type of Dj unless its for an old folks home. Word of advise go with a different DJ.

I’ve worked with Jeff for an event this past summer and I am impressed with his professionalism, dynamics, and expertise. He knows how to work the crowd and keep them happy.
This is not his side job. He is a true professional who is dedicated to his career. I look forward to working with him again.

Jeff at Colonial DJ’s did a great job tonight at Unilocal’s Electric Summer. The music was great and people were enjoying themselves. You even played my song (the Electric Slide).
I love working with Jeff and he is alot of fun to work with and the guests have a great time.
Howard is awesome to work with as well and I hired him many times for my corporate events.
