Best craft store in the area. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and AC Moore never disappoints. The store has a wide assortment of basic craft supplies and is always nice and clean and the employees are very helpful. Prices are not bad at all and there’s always tons of sales. I do wish AC Moore had a better website for searching specific items, but you can always call and speak to an employee who will help you out. Be prepared to come in looking for one thing and leave with a handful of fun crafts!

Crafter’s Haven… I’m not much of an Arts n Crafts person but when I’m in need of something I do make a trip over here. About 3 years ago I took the Wilton Cake Decorating 1&2 Classes. I had a blast but honestly I should stick to eating the cakes and not decorating them! :-/The class instructor was great though — forget her name — but she was very patient and detailed.

This place is always having sales, and they have pretty good deals anyway. Better prices than Michaels on many items. Their yarn selection is great – none of the«fancy» brands, but they have all of the Patons, Bernat, Lion, and other mainstream brand yarns that I can think of. My favorite thing there? Lion Homespun«Mill Ends.» You can get 3 skeins for $ 5.99. Admittedly, I went crazy! They also have mill ends from Caron. I found the Simply Soft ones, and got quite a few of those as well. Their knit and crochet book selection is decent. Their bead selection is good, too. I haven’t had as much time to explore this store as I would’ve liked, but I’ll definitely be going back(as often as my wallet will allow!).
