U-Haul Moving & Storage of York

The staff at this location are absolutely horrible. They are rude and have no sense of customer service. Not only is it completely disorganized but its run absolutely in the most inefficient way possible. After ordering online to save myself sometime on the day all my friends and family were coming to help me move, I wasted 45 minutes just picking up the truck and being told that the online order meant nothing. Then I was told to take the equipment I ordered and go find the truck myself somewhere in the lot. When dropping off the truck the experience only got worse. They only had one person inspecting and moving the trucks resulting in a 5 truck back log which took about 25 minutes just to get through. Then after waiting for the cashier he asked for the contract which I was never told to bring back with me. From which was apparently the only possible way for them to find out what the mileage was on the truck when I left (even though they have a seemingly modern computer system which is branded as being connected to online ordering… yeah right). After about an hour I was finally able to leave the unplowed and unsalted lot where customers are chastised for parking when picking up their moving equipment. Absolutely the worst experience I have had anywhere… ever. Please do yourself a favor and stay away and rent a truck elsewhere. Save yourself the aggravation.
