We went in for dinner tonight. One other table occupied at around 7:00PM I had a meat Calzone which was loaded with cheese and meat. Excellent. Wife had the manicotti which she also enjoyed. Will go back.

The food is not the problem. I’d pick them over any other pizza place in town. It’s the fact that they post their hours and then decide to close whenever they feel like it. Or they don’t feel like taking deliveries. Poor management.

Went in at 2 on a Saturday. Was told they were going to close early. Ridiculous. Went a few weeks back and they were closed at noon when they are supposed to open at 11. I guess they open and close whenever they feel like it. Very disappointing.

There aren’t many place to eat in York, SC(highly recommend the Garden Café). My mom and I were waiting on my dog to get groomed at Dogma and Fetch. He had about a half hour left, so we decided to walk down to Tony’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant. They were completely empty so we got right in and ordered. The staff were very friendly and the food was incredibly cheap. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and side salads, and they were way better than I anticipated. It’s not a fancy place and it could use some updating, but it wasn’t a disapointment. The pizza had great flavor, great sauce, and chewy cheese! Not so bad!

Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Server gave our appetizers to another table. I asked her to reorder. We got the wrong appetizers. Two of the three of us finally got our food. I had to ask for silverware. They had no clean silverware! So the server gave us plastic utensils to eat with. I then had to remind the server she still needed another meal for our table. The owner/cook was visibly irate about something. They also charged the lady front of me for the wrong call in order. TERRIBLE!!!

A mixed bag of a place. The waitress had a truly sweet disposition, but I was there for 10 minutes before anyone even realized I was in the building. She let me sample their sauce before I ordered, and I was fairly impressed. Overall, the food is pretty tasty and the pizza seemed more impressive than I expected. However, the ravioli was obvious prepackaged and frozen, as it was like chewing cardboard.

Pretty good. They still haven’t put their menu online so I took pictures of it. Way better than the other fast food pizza places in York. Pretty sweet that they deliver.

The calzones and pizza are consistently good and service above average too. Great food for the price.

No, this not how to run a restaurant ! The boss did not want to seat or serve us because we arived just prior to closing time. He used the wait staff to express his displeasure. Became defensive and arrogant when we advised him it was poor businesses practice to post a closing time on the door, then let the server tell your paying customers you’re «pissed off» if they show up shortly before closing. It’s a shame it’s a small town. Word gets around fast, and anyone with transportation can eat elsewhere. Good manners and good sense can make or break any service business. Too bad both are totally lacking here. If I’m treated like I’m an annoyance I lose my appetite. Guess they don’t understand pleasantries do count in The South. The food was edible, but the attitude sure left a bitter taste. Won’t be back. Have car, Unilocal, and Italian food is pretty easy to find round these parts.

We love Tony’s!!! We normally have ordered for pick up but have dined in a few times. Although its never busy for sit down service, there is a constant flow of people picking up to go orders. I personally love their Calzones, my husband loves their Chicken Parm & Spaghetti. Their pizza is really good too, its very close to the NY style pizza we are used being from up north, never greasy, always fully cooked. They even run specials, just ask when you call to order. The staff is always polite and friendly

Great pizza and Stromboli. This restaurant has changed hands a couple times. Greatly improved recently with friendly and professional staff. We have become regulars again. Only one complaint, no draught beer.
