Really good food and overall experience. Friendly, helpful staff. Salad was fairly standard, but the bread knots & dipping oil were awesome. I had the Tour of Italy paired with a Three Stone Brown Ale — local beer from Lincoln, NE down the highway. Both were excellent. This restaurant is well worth the short trip from the interstate if you want to take a travel break at a sit down restaurant(minus the beer-LOL).

I’m not a big pasta guy, but this was really good. I had«Chicken and Carsoni»: Creamy pesto, broccoli, mushroom, bell pepper and chicken over fettucini. A draft Sam Adams Cold Snap was the perfect accompaniment. Tip: if you have a draft, get the large. For 50 cents more its almost twice the size.

Worth a try. I was a visitor to York this past week, and an aunt and uncle arranged a family dinner at York’s newest restaurant. The menu looked fabulous and I looked forward to our meal. The atmosphere is very nice. Perry Como, Sinatra, etc. provided background music. The décor was appropriate and not overdone. The servers were attentive and knowledgable. The food, however, was disappointing to most. Those who had the spaghetti and meatballs and the manicotti were pleased. Those of us who had any cream sauce(red, green or white) were not thrilled. The sauces were too thick, and had no more flavor than a Knorr sauce mix. The gelato dessert was delicious, but the lemon cake was dry and the custard was bland, not tangy. BUTTHEBREADWASDELICIOUS! That’s the reason for the third star. Just please, serve real butter with such wonderful fresh, hot Italian bread. Menu items were in the $ 12-$ 16 dollar range for most entrees and included choice of soup or salad.(The house balsamic dressing is quite sharp… needs olive oil, but the ranch was good.)
