Wedding planning is enough to deal with as is. Meeting vendors who clearly don’t care just adds to the stress. The owner Rich Berkheimer has an ego and attitude problem. In dealing with him regarding using his services, his apparent lack of professionalism came out. He was extremely rude and left my fiancé in tears and stressed out. I wont go into what was said, or what had happened, but needless to say we will be steering clear of Rockin out DJ services. I highly recommend the owner re-​evaluate how he deals with clients and maybe some anger management classes are in order. Don’t ever let this guy polite-​fully know that you intend not to use him for your event, even in a polite manner; because you will get whiplash from the way his personality does a 180 and retaliates. I will remove this review if my fiancé receives a satisfactory apology. Good luck with your business!

Planning a wedding is an added stress on top of normal life. Here is the story of why I would not recommend this service without even meeting or using the service. Who knows, maybe its a good DJ, but I would not want to find out now.
I received a quote from Rockin’ Out DJ Service, requested a meeting which he was very polite and replied. I did not confirm the meeting or times and at the last minute got call out of town for work so was not available. Upon realizing I had missed the meeting (which was never confirmed so he did not have to show up anywhere), I sent an email to reschedule which he politely responded and I again, had not yet confirmed. In the meantime, my fiancé and I met with another DJ service and felt that his services were well presented and the price was right so instead of wasting Rich’s time and having a meeting, I sent him this message: «I wanted to let you know that we decided to work with another service. Thank you for your patience while we went through this process.» The following day I received this response from Rich: «Thanks for making me rearrange my schedule for you, for letting me go and wait until the very last minute to find out if we were even meeting two weeks ago, and then making yet, another appointment, only to cancel that one now and choose someone else entirely without having given me a chance to show you what we could do for you. I’m sure you went with a dj that kept lowering their fee until it was bargain basement. I hope that he doesn’t back out on you, and shows you more integrity than what you’ve shown me in this process. You’ve wasted me time»
Again, planning a wedding is stressful and sometimes life gets in the way. Rich might have a fantastic DJ service, but if he’s going to be this rude to people I would not recommend him to anyone.
