Nature’s Touch of Serenity

Lydia is the amazing! Out of all the massages I have ever had she is definitely the best!!! I love deep tissue and she really got deep in my knots and every time I’m finished I leave feeling like a brand new person!!! If I could afford it I would go to her every single day!!! I recommend her to everyone!!! She’s THAT good!!!

Massage appointment was scheduled last minute and Shannon was so very helpful in making it happen on a weekend day. Massage performed by Lydia– very attentive to my needs and was a treat overall. Effects were explained in depth after the session and I was given a bottle of water to help flush out whatever toxins released during the 60 minute massage. Most certainly going back for round 2.
Prices were very reasonable and location is easy to find off RTE 83.

Not impressed. I called to schedule an appointment. I asked if there was an off chance they could get me in the same day and was told by the owner that he would check it out and call me back. If he couldn’t get me in the same day he would schedule me for something the following week. I never got a call back. I guess they don’t need my business.

I’ve had massages at 4 different places, some at my home (if you can find someone who will bring their table etc. to your house it’s great — just roll off the massage table onto your bed!), one in Denver at a very upscale hotel, one at another local establishment, and quite a few at Nature’s Touch of Serenity. Giving consideration purely to the actual massage, NTS wins hands down. Certainly, the hotel in Denver wins for atmosphere and pampering, but as nice as that is, I’m more interested in the gift, not the wrapping.
I started going to NTS thanks to a special they were advertising on a radio station I listen to. Why not, right? If the price is right I’ll give it a shot. Well, after one visit I was hooked! NTS has several therapists, but I’ve always gone to Robby, the owner. I can’t say enough good about the massage he gives. No fluff and buff for me — I like the deep tissue massage, and boy, does he ever get into the muscles. Of course I enjoy how good it feels in the moment, but what really impresses me is how loose my body feels for days afterwards. After sitting at a computer all week (at work), and getting the intense workouts at the gym (read my review of L A Fitness), getting a massage is incredibly therapeutic. Robby works out kinks I didn’t even know I had, and when I walk out, I swear, I feel at about ½″ taller because my muscles are relaxed and not all bunched up.
The prices are more than reasonable, and of course you get the complimentary bottle of water to take with you (imperative to drink lots of water afterwards to flush out all the toxins that are released from your muscles). NTS is right off the Mt. Rose exit of 83 so it’s in a very convenient location.
