Has been my favorite sushi place for years. Unfortunately they recently raised their prices and decreased their portion size :(Pretty pricey for what you get.

They have good egg rolls and wonton soup. I would like a fork and a spoon I. Chop sticks are just not my thing. Not a bad place good service.

Love this place!!! You MUST try the Chefs roll. Should’ve taken a picture, but it didn’t last that long

Have had good experiences here in the past, but tonight was something else entirely. Arrived 90 minutes before we planned to see a movie(at Frank’s Theater which is in the same lot). We were seated after a brief wait and ordered quickly — one bento box and five sushi rolls. Our drinks an appetizers were served quickly. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. And then we talked to the manager, who said they were working on the food. She was just shy at yelling at our table, explaining that they had a lot of orders all at once come in, and they had only had our order for 20 minutes.(though we’d ordered at least 45 minutes before). We explained that at were were trying to make it to a movie, but were probably not going to at this point. And then, after watching 3 to-go orders full of sushi walk past, and watching literally every other table in the restaurant get served, including at least 3 tables that had come in after we were seated, our food finally arrived. The food was all, as usual, good — quality has never been a problem. No consideration was given to the bill for the length wait or missed movie. The manager half-explained /half-yelled again when we went to pay for the check. We were told that if we were in a hurry(which apparently means ‘don’t want to wait an hour for entrees to arrive’), we should let them know when we sit down. So…consider yourself warned. We won’t be back, and I’d recommend you avoid this place — not because of the wait times(things do happen), but because of the incredibly unprofessional behavior of the management.

Too pricey for the food and services they provide. Today we receive the smallest takeout rice box ever from them. We ordered takeout soups but there are no spoons, so we can only drink the soup directly from the bowl. Do not recommend.

Ate here for the first time today for lunch. Based on that experience I’d say this isn’t good Japanese or Chinese food. All said we ordered 3 spicy rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls. None of it was good. I’m not trying to be a snob but we know good Chinese and Japanese food having traveled extensively in both countries and cooking a fair bit of both cuisines at home regularly. I know not to expect the most authentic Asian food in a small town but this was just not good. The restaurant was clean and the waitstaff was very friendly.

This is one of my favorite sushi places. First found this place while attending a sushi making class and the chef was amazing– personable and knowledgeable. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Soups and salad here are also fabulous. I have eaten other food on the menu and it’s good but the sushi is my favorite.

This is my favorite place for Chinese food and sushi. They have great tasting fresh food. I love the chicken yakitori its delicious. It gets very busy on weekends so be prepared to make a reservation or take out.

Food great, great and fast service. Guess they bought new chopsticks? Very flimsy, look like they are made from partial board. They splinter apart and are hard to hold.

Located in a strip mall, the décor inside definitely outshines what you see on the exterior. Prices are reasonable in my estimation. I ordered one of the bento boxes and was disappointed when it was first placed in front of me. However, I was pleasantly full by the time I had consumed my meal. They do have Wi-Fi for their customers!

Only place we go in York for sushi! Great sushi and I love the green tea. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in York Co. for sushi. Casual and well priced.

Worst ever! Terrible service, food was all messed up, took an hour to get food and it was awful when we did get it! Very rude people too when we complained. Go anywhere else!

First time here. Got the Bento Box. General Tso’s was excellent. Hot and Sour soup was also excellent. Sushi was very average, as was the egg roll … Kind of chewy. But I’d come back here for the Hot and Sour soup and straight Chinese food again.

Business took my husband and I through York recently and I’d have to say the dining options in York leave a great deal to be desired. I spied a place that said«hibachi» and that of course quickly followed a turn into the parking lot for supper. There are no hibachi tables, its cooked in the kitchen. That is a huge pet peeve of mine — if you advertise hibachi have the decency to have the tables. Americans like us love those silly hibachi tables:) Here’s my review! Atmosphere: strip mall, small type eatery, very tightly packed tables. Not any real atmosphere but clean and smelled fabulous. We were so hungry a pack of wild dogs could not have driven us away that night, a Friday about 7pm. Service: Pretty good. No real complaints except the server seemed very rushed and quite honestly I got the impression she wanted us to hurry. I really hate that. I am paying so don’t rush me! Food: Had cooked crab rolls to start with wrapped in cucumber strips instead of rice which was new for us. Obviously we are not sushi experts but this was fresh and tasty. My husband raved about the super hot wasabi. He loves having his mind blown by hot wasabi and this one actually made him break out in a sweat and he got slightly shakey LOL. I had the hibachi scallops and vegetables, «veggies» on the menu lol. Salad had«ginger» dressing but tasted just like russian or a light french dressing and could detect no ginger in it. Substituted brown rice for white which cost extra but was worth it. I wish more asian places had brown rice available. My scallops were PERFECT and the vegetables were well done, nice variety and still slightly crunchy. My husband got the hibachi shrimp and they were over cooked so chewy which is a huge no-no for hibachi. I had hot sake which was not quite hot enough but tasty and the wine was terrible. Only one choice per type, cabernet, etc which is typical of asian places but honestly if you only have ONE brand then choose a not so crappy one eh? Over priced, inconsistent and rushed dinner. That deserves 3 stars.

The food is never consistent. Service is slow. And definitely not the best sushi in York. Fujihana would still have to be my favorite.

Let me start off by saying there’s not much to eat around York. So I’m going to help by doing a service and Unilocaling the only places worth eating around here. The sushi here is hit or miss. I guess that’s what to be expected in the middle of nowhere Central Pennsylvania. The Chinese food is actually pretty good. Hot and sour soup is among the best I’ve ever had, and the bento boxes, which I guess is Japanese is quite the value with all that you get. They do serve hibachi here. It’s not the kind that they cook right front of you, even though it’s priced that way, but it is pretty good. The four stars is a little bit skewed because of the lack of quality food in York, but if you’re in town this place is definitely worth checking out.

My experiences with Japanese food in York have ranged from absolutely AMAZING to TERRIBLE… Mitsuru is definitely closer to the amazing end, but still only gets 3 stars. The location seems nice and clean, in a very safe strip mall part of South York. The staff was friendly and efficient all three times I have been there. The food selection is actually pretty decent, but the actual food is sub-par. My last visit I ordered the sushi deluxe, a plate of assorted raw fish. It was bland and flavorless without any artistic presentation. When I go out for sushi i expect not only a flavorful experience, but one with beauty and design as well.
