Hampton Inn & Suites

This is a great hotel for road warriors staying in York. The hotel staff was super friendly. My Hertz rental car (from BWI airport) did not come with a snow brush. Upon walking outside the hotel, the maintenance guy (wish I can remember his name) kindly offered to take care of my snowed-​in car. He saved my morning (and kindly refused my tip)!

We stayed here for a volleyball club tournament at the York Convention Center for three days. It was a very nice hotel. We had an easy check in and check out. The staff was friendly. I liked that coffee was always available in the lobby. I only ate the free breakfast one day and it was oatmeal that was good. They seemed to have a decent number of choices. I used the gym and it was clean and quiet. The room was clean and straightened up on time each day. I would stay here again.

We stayed here after going to Hersheypark. It was a bit far from the park. I didn’t realize that when I booked this hotel. But as for the property it is really nice. The rooms are typical size but nice. The staff was friendly. They have the breakfast that comes with the room. It was really good, well stocked and fresh. If you are looking for a place in this area definitely stay here.

Love the hotel’s cleanliness and walk in glass door showers (shower curtains=GROSS!) 3 stars because I would never stay here again… My husband and I came here for a date night. We LOVE to bring in take-​out & watch in-​room movies. This hotel has NO pay movies and uses DirectTV. There are only about 20 channels. We drove 3 hours from Jersey and we were so disappointed. We spent the evening watching tv/​movie on my iPhone. Otherwise, front desk is very friendly and polite, room is clean, no smells whatsoever. Easily a 5 star, other than our purpose for being there was hanging, eating and watching in-​room movies all night. They need to upgrade their DirectTV (which does offer pay movies). Then we would definitely be back.

Was in York one night for a wedding. Best hotel experience I’ve ever had. New hotel, super clean rooms, easy check in/​check out. Couldn’t have been better.

My daughter recently got married, and we had many out of town family and friends stay at this new hotel. We arranged for a special wedding rate, which was gotten correct maybe 60% of the time. The hotel gave the guests a hard time about correcting their mistaken invoices at check-​out. Also, we had made up gift bags for our guests. We even made up an extra two bags, so there was no way we’d run short. Not everyone got the bag. I know of five guests who did not receive. After the wedding I called and spoke with the manager, and tried to give some constructive feedback. All I got in return was denial and excuses.

Newly built. Great location off of exit 16A, even next to Cracker Barrel.
Great hotel staff, with fresh cookies and coffee at check in.
Room was spacious with many lights and a little desk to setup laptop. Complimentary Wi-​Fi.
Bathroom was nice and had a large stand up shower with glass door.
One thing my girlfriend noticed is the two types of toilet tissue: one soft; one hard. You choose based on your comfort level.
Will stay again.
