This store has terrible customer service. I purchased a pair of Guide Series, Gander Mountain brand waders from here. I had the waders for some time before I use them. The first time I used them they LEAKED. I took them to Cablelas in Hamburg because I purchase a lot of outdoor products from them. I did not realize the waders were not from Cableas. The agent said if they were Cableas brand they would return them, but they are not Cableas. I went to the GM York store with waders but no receipt. The waders had a large Guide Series logo on the front. The manager stated they would not return them w/​o receipt. No store credit or even a prorated adjustment. Nothing. I showed him they were new, worn one time and they leaked. Did not matter, sorry for your luck. I will never step foot in this store again.

Love this store. We’re outdoor type peeps and these guys always seem to have what we’re looking for; and this time was no different. We’ve found great prices on t-​shirts to camping gear!
We have had to return items for one reason or another in the past, but the staff have always been professional, friendly and made the returns with out issue ~ which is a huge plus in our book!
Highly recommend putting Gander Mountain on your list of «go-​to» places! Unfortunately, we don’t have Cabella’s close by so GM’s has our business :)

This is a pretty big store for any of your outdoor needs. I’m sure Cabela’s is bigger, but this is pretty nice for York. The selection is pretty decent but prices might not always be the cheapest, so you might want to shop around. Dick’s Sporting goods is close if you want to do some comparison shopping. You can get hunting and fishing licenses here as well.
