Coppa Magica Gelato Cafe

Delicious. So so good. Creamy and refreshing. Since it was Fall I missed out on some of the summer flavors. I had a delightful coconut which did a lovely dance on my palette. Quite good.

I’m so glad I stopped by this place– the gelato is delicious and authentic. My new favorite ice cream/​gelato place in York.

Wonderful homemade gelato in intriguing flavors, and the proprietress was so nice to us! We almost didn’t stop since the roadside sign did not tempt us – we were so glad that we did! We visited this place twice during a three-​day vacation!

Stopped in for a late night treat and boy are we happy we did. Delicious! The salted caramel one was fantastic! Containers looked small but portions were huge!

This place is great!!! Lots of flavors and she even lets you put more than one in the cup.

Great options! They even stayed open after hours to served people who strolled in, like us! Would recommend!

This was sooo worth finding! Not a lot of flavored, but the ones they have are good! We got the smallest size and it was plenty! Staff are nice. Will go back next time in Maine!

Noticed this place driving by and decided to stop. What an unexpected find. The owners are very Italian and very nice. They are helpful in picking out your favorite flavor and even came outside to help clean up after our six year old made a mess with his cone. The sizes are enormous and the coffee gelato was the best I have had.

This place is amazing, we drove by it all last year and finally stopped early this summer and have been back a dozen times. Every flavor we have had has been delicious, though I’m kind of stuck on their coffee and chocolate right now. It’s funny my brother’s wife’s family is all Jersey Italian but my nephew had never had gelato. We had him for the day last week and I told him we were taking him for gelato. He got really upset saying gelato was gross and he wanted to go to Dairy Queen. We held our ground, one bite and he was «gelato is great!».

This is going to be a regular stop for the family. The flavors of gelato that I have tried so far were great. You can tell the owners take great care in providing the very best. They bring an authentic gelato experience directly from Italy where they live part-​time. Gelato can’t get much better than this. Try the Nutella flavor.

Coppa Magica gelato is the most amazing gelato you will ever have! It’s a favorite in our house, my family is hooked :) The owner Kathryn is so sweet, and will give you a sample if you are unsure. The sorbettos are an amazing dairy free option, made with fresh fruits. Our family favorites: sea salted caramel, mint chocolate chip, straciatella gelatos and pineapple and ace punch sorbettos. If you are in York for a visit, it’s a must have!

Just spent the weekend in York and stopped in on the way home. So good!!! The place is small, but that’s fine, because its just gelato. There was a young woman and an older man behind the counter. The young woman was doing all the work, the older gentleman might have just been a family member or something. But she was friendly and quick.
One of the things I liked about this place is they let you get multiple flavors no matter the sizes, so even a kiddie size can get more than one flavor. A lot of ice cream shops limit multiple flavors to the larger sizes.
Anyway, the flavors were fabulous. Packed with flavor. Its not like you take a bite and wait for the flavors. They’re there immediately. The texture? Superb. My wife told the lady it was the best gelato she’s ever had, and the lady had to translate for the man in what I think was Italian. I didn’t hear it all that well. But that just makes it feel all the more authentic. We are going back there every time we go to York. That’s a gaurentee.

I now make this stop as part of my weekly ritual on the commute from Maine. The best gelato on this side of the Atlantic! «il più delizioso gelati in questo lato libero Atlantico.» Robust flavored, generous portions and the real deal. The owners are great and always appreciate the business.

Visited this new Gelato shop for the first time and it was absolutely excellent! Beats any ice cream in the York area hands down, no questions asked. Their Gelato was fresh, homemade and it tasted great. You can’t beat that.
I recommend their peanut butter crunch or chocolate.

A group of us tried the new gelato shop on Route 1 in York today. It is very impressive. They are still working on getting it open, so don’t expect the appearance to be perfect, but the gelato got rave reviews from the group, and you should check it out.
The owners, a young man from Rome and a young woman who lived in Italy, are delightful. They told us they only use in season, fresh fruit for their gelatos and sorbettos.
