I love going in to this hardware store. They do screen doors. They always have helped me out with doing some of my own do it myselfs. This is the best place to get keys made thats for sure. When i have bought keys eles where they have never worked. They are so friendly when i come in. They always go out of there to help me out with what ever im looking for… Yes, they are also dog friendly.

I’m so happy we have this gem in our neighborhood for all of our hardware needs. They have it all and even are open 7 days a week. If you need keys made they have really cute ones. They were super helpful in helping us assemble some For Rent signs that we bought there and saved us the time and the headache of a trip to Home Depot!

I just moved to this area and needed a hot water supply valve for my washer. The part wasn’t a standard ½″ compression pipe it was some weird 3⁄8 size which Home Depot didn’t have, so I came down here and immediately was greeted by two of their workers who I’m guessing are the owners. The fitting I had was a little odd but the gentleman helping me deciphered it and we found the exact right part. I just finished hooking it up :), I’ll definitely be back.
I miss smaller stores like that were you get excellent customer service.

Nice down-​home hardware store, feels like you’re in a small town. They don’t have nearly the selection of the big box stores but if you need something common it’s worth the trip to get it from them. A little hard to find but worth it! Best non big-​box hardware store in YL hands-​down!

I don’t understand the negative review. I have been shopping at Y L Hardware for years. Both Becky and Art are always helpfull and friendly to their customers. I wonder if Darilynn was at Ace Hardwarte on Richfield?

I love to support local business, and try not to shop at Home Depot. I went here on a Saturday a.m., and to search for someone to help me find my toilet part. When I found this gentleman, he seemed kind of annoyed that I asked for help (he wasn’t busy), pointed to where they were, and walked away. When I went to pay, he never spoke one word to me, no «hi» «how are you today?», just what my total was. No «thank you», no BAG.
I was shocked and disappointed at the service. I won’t be back. I’ll drive to Fullerton Hardware instead!
