I was very impressed with Scurrah’s roofing This is where I agree with the idea of giving credit where it is deserved and that is why I needed to write this review. Scurrah’s roofing is the ultimate choice. They recently did a re-roofing for my house in Orange county. I now have a elegant roof and do not have to worry about leaking or need for repairs. Second, the owner is a man of integrity, he is not moved by just profits, he is committed to the undertaking of leaving a legacy of satisfying clients beyond their expectations. From my experience and interactions with the whole team, I can attest they have the interest of the client at heart. They don’t just come and construct any roof and give any price; they take time to analyze and advice the client on the best roof or re-roofing options. I would personally recommend Scurrah’s Roofing to my friends and family. They are simply the best roofing service providers!

This review is an addendum to my original review, and for good reason. I have lowered the rating from my initial review to one star. I would give none if I could and here is why. When Jeff Scurrah re-roofed our house he missed a problem that should have been obvious to any roofing contractor. How do I know this? Because I’m having a general contractor install an electrical panel upgrade and he pointed out the problem immediately and asked who did our roof. He couldn’t believe that Scurrah didn’t fix the problem. What was the problem? A previous contractor many years ago sawed off a 5 foot section of our eave, rafter tails and all, to install a patio cover. The patio cover is long gone and so we have a missing section of roof that causes rainwater to drain right on to our electrical panel. So now we will have to pay our general contractor another thousand dollars to fix an obvious problem that we already paid Scurrah a lot of money to fix. This is really aggravating and as I write this I am having very bad thoughts about Scurrah’s Rip-off Roofing. Bottom line — DONOTUNDERANYCIRCUMSTANCESDOBUSINESSWITHTHISINCOMPETENT, OVERPRICED, LAZY, NOGOODBOZO! HEHASNOINTEGRITY.

When there is only one review, from an ex employee, I should have known better. Recently got a bid from Scurrah’s roofing. He was really pushing a certain product talking about SPIF points etc. His bid was over $ 5,000.00 more than the contractor I selected to do my roof.

Absolutely one of the best roofing company. Truly a master in what they do. I was employed with Scurrah’s roofing for over 8 years as sales rep. I left the company in great terms about 6 years ago to pursue a totally different career path in church ministry. I can honestly say that Jeff Scurrah the owner has incredible integrity, honesty, and workmanship. When I was a sales rep for the company, I sold about two residential roofs per week. We rarely had leaks, even after 5 or 10 years later. Another reason this is one of the best roof company is because no matter how busy we got Jeff would not hire other crew just to knock the jobs out. He was very picky about the installers. Facts and Reasons to go with this Company: a. same phone number for 20 years b. used to build multi million dollar home in Palos Verdes area c. buying from same roof material place for over 25 years.(A.L.L. Roof supply in Long beach) d. Financially secure. He doesn’t owe a dime to his supplier e. Same installation team for 10 years(one crew) One of the best I’ve seen. f. Has re-roofed numerous multimillion dollar homes and go to guy for difficult roofing jobs even among his peers. g. One of the best Company and Boss I ever had. period. Quality person. Very generous, spreads the wealth not greedy.(I wish every boss was like Jeff Scurrah) If you need a repair or re-roof give Jeff a call. Their price is reasonable and the quality is second to none. The review by Dave A. under mine is totally unfair. How does he know he is getting apple to apple? Some roofing jobs could be in the $ 10-$$ 100k or more, some home owners are not interested in the cheapest bid. As of matter fact most of the lowest bid contractors that I used to compete against are no longer around.(i could name at least 15 companies that are no longer around) So would Dave A say the same thing if his roof leaked later and the company is no longer around? Being in this business many aspects could effect the price. a. How long has the installers been there and the quality of the installers. or(pick up installers off the street) b. Do they pay workman’s comp. on all the workers c. Do they have liabliity insurance
