Very rude and didn’t give me the time of day. Ended up spending thousands on the other side of the 91 with place with MUCH better reviews. Very judgmental because I’m younger and don’t wear nice cloths on my day off. Also they were paying very low on someone else silver rounds that they brought in… I felt sad for them that they would sell to these kinds of people.

We are so glad we found Main St. Coins & Collectibles. I remember visiting this coin shop many years ago. So when we needed to find a gift for a coin collecting family member, we had to stop by here. The owner was as knowledgeable and reputable as we remembered, both qualities that are hard to find in most coin dealers.
When we came in this last week, we found exactly what we wanted right away. The owner pointed us to what we wanted right away. Instead of overpricing the items, we were quoted reasonable prices for the coins without a huge markup.
Then my son wanted to find out more about an old medallion he owns. Since we knew very little about this item, the owner explained some unique details about this treasured item. Ed, the owner, was also very patient with all of our questions. It was nice to find a reputable dealer who didn’t mind explaining things to us.

My neighbors recommended Main Street Coins as they have been dealing with him for years but I am very skeptical and wanted to get at least 5 estimates to see who would offer me the highest price. In addition, I also checked on Ebay to see what comparable items had recently sold for.
So armed with all these numbers, I then went into Main Street Coins. Not only did he offer me more than the other gold/​silver dealers, but his price was comparable to what I could have sold it for on Ebay — but without the hassle and having to pay Ebay a fee!
He paid me on the spot, and there was no pressure or obligation to sell items which I did experience at one of the other shops. I highly recommend them.
