I usually don’t go with a big name carpet cleaner but this time around, I choose ChemDry by Newton because I had heard good things from neighbors.
First and foremost, the price. Very affordable and for all the service and gets the job done.
Second the turn around time. I called to request a clean and Dennis was there within a few days — best turn around time of all the places I’ve worked with.
Last but certainly not least, Dennis is a great guy. Never thought I’d have so much to say about this review but I hope that it’s a testament to how great of a guy he is.
Do yourself a favor and give Dennis a call, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow. Very disappointed. If you are expecting the chem-​dry machine from the ad and YouTube video DO NOT call this guy. I wish I would have done some research first. He was using a cloth floor buffer with a chem-​dry sticker on it which did nothing. He did not honor the price in the ad. I am a very laid back person and wasn’t offended by his personality but beware he is very abrasive and a little racist.

This is a perfect example of someone taking advantage of an elderly person… he came to my grandma s house (next door to mine) and during the two and a half hours it took him to «clean» two rooms, he managed to scare the SHIT out of her with his intimidating conversation about his «old» mother in law, whom he apparently «doesn’t care for», shall we say, and overcharged her by not honoring the advertised price by giving her some whack ass analogy about buying a donut for one price, only to get to the register for another!!! All in all, I would have to say that this man is SO below what I would consider professional, and he should just thank his lucky stars that my police officer husband, who lives next door, was not home to witness his inappropriate behavior, and complete lack of professionalism. he might want to consider removing his ad from the weekly flyer if he has no intention of honoring the price quoted.

I called a week before I needed my carpet cleaned and booked a cleaning for 10:30 A.M. on Nov. 24th. He never showed. I called 3 times leaving a message and never received a return call. This was especially depressing since I had taken a day off just so he could clean my carpet.

Dennis arrived on time, was friendly, and gave good advice on how to care for our carpets. He did exactly what he said he would do and charged a fair price! He was also very funny, we enjoyed having him in our home. We will definitely hire him again.

Only putting a star because I have to! This guy is a scam only reason I chose it was because of the name and it was in my weekly mailer so I thought it had to be good. Well he charged me for the pet control which I needed since my cat had an accident. Well a few hours after he left smell came back and it was even stronger the next day. Tried calling him numerous times left numerous messages and still have not gotten a response. This guy knows he did a botched job and now doesn’t even have the professionalism to fix it or even call !!! Do not use the guy I wish I would have looked on here before using this schmuck! !!
