A great location to bring your family for the summer. It’s a beautiful park in Westchester county with many recreational activities. There is an aquatic complex that includes the lazy river pool, a water playground for kids, in-pool basketball and 2 water slides. They also have picnic and BBQ areas, playgrounfs, soccer field, bicycle trails & miniature golf.

I love the facility. It is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have two water slides that have more rules than amusement water rides and a huge lazy river that sometimes resembles a bowl full of cheerios on a busy summer day. They have a water volleyball area, water basketball area and a lap pool area that doubles for free swim. They have an artificial turf for land volleyball and a kiddie water section for the little ones. Tibbetts is easily the most expensive out of all the Westchester pools but it has the most bells and whistles and is the most recently renovated. New expense? Now you have to pay for parking, even if you are a resident and own a park pass. It kind of sucks but if you visit often and are that hard up for a buck, park up the hill in the residential area right outside the entrance and hoof it with all your kids, towels, soft 12 inch coolers and beach chairs down the hill, passed the security hut, down the ramp and through the doors of the pool entrance. Happy hiking.

A great park to visit in the summer, gets kind of crowded though, most folks come with their children for the big pool area. There is also a huge lawn to chill out on and picnic. The bathrooms are clean and if you enjoy running or cycling the Old Putnam Railway trail and the Old Croton Aqueduct trail basically run through the park. There is a parking lot but most of the time its full and you have to park on the street.
