Sprain Grill

I was looking for a place to have the reception after our wedding and found the Sprain Grill. It was scenic with the golf course and river. We tried their food there and OMG it was so good. We tried their Thai chicken wings best thing we ever ate. We had other dishes and they were all so good. We booked our reception with the owners and they were amazing. We arranged everything for our DJ and to our cake and food with them and they were very helpful. They set up our tables as planned and provided excellent service. Our guest loved the food everything from our cocktail hour to buffet. They had great wine and beer that we choose for our package. You will never be disappointed when you go to the Sprain Grill. The chef is an executive chef who knows what he’s doing. Thank you everyone at the Sprain Grill for making our wedding reception memorable. Our event was in October 24, 2015 perfect time for wedding. The menu they provide for their party events are not the same as what they offer daily. We had a variety of choices for our buffet everything from paella, ribs, variety of chicken, pork or seafood to trays of variety of platters. Try them out you will be happy you did.

Took the family to the Sprain Lake Grill for dinner this past Saturday evening. I’ve lived in the area for most of my life without checking this place out, and when a Groupon was purchased, it was time to visit. We are glad we did!
This is the restaurant that adjoins the Sprain Lake Golf Course. If you are looking for a no frills, pub like establishment, but one with an outdoor patio seating area in which to watch the sun go down, then look no further. It features a decent sized bar with just a few taps, and comfortable tables that don’t have you breathing down your dining neighbors necks.
The food is pub-​like, but that isn’t a bad thing if it’s solidly prepared, and that’s what you go in expecting – which we were. The salads are immense and fresh, and the pasta dishes are also enough for 2 or 3, and very tasty. Key Lime pie for dessert was a very good choice, but if we didn’t have a Groupon for a certain amount to spend we certainly wouldn’t have ordered it – we could barely walk out of there! The service was also extremely friendly, and not intrusive. We will definitely be back.
