Poblano Cafe

I ther for lunch I don’t have to wait long and it is very clean the waitress are very friendly and helpful. There food is served hot and delicious. It my favorite spot for a quick but economical place to have lunch.

The food here is great. The owner seems to be doing awesome spreading his locations throughout westchester which is a good thing for everybody.

The hot sauces are on point
However my last 2 visits my meat has been overcooked

I can say its a good spot to have a burger. Not a modern looking place but decent. It had a good Chili cheese burger but my complaint about it is that there wasn’t enough chili being that thats the selling point of the order.
You have to try the ‘Agua de Jamaica” its excellent

Meh. The owner is friendly, but the food is average, and the place is essentially a counter and a bunch of fixed bar chairs.
Still, their Arabe tacos are very good.

The biggest thing food-​wise I will miss about no longer working in Yonkers is Poblano Café.
The manager there, Claudio, is a great guy. He’s very nice and easy to talk too, even though he’s super busy preparing people’s tacos. If you chat with him, he’ll teach you about the ingredients he uses and how he prepares his taco meats.
As an update to my previous review, Poblano Café now has a menu (that doubles as its take out menu). The lengua is also listed on it.
Their drinks are good too. I like the Jorchata and Mamey.
Even though Poblano Café is a Mexican joint, they still kept many of the menu items that were found on the old hot dog stand’s roster of items, including hot dogs, though I’ve never bothered to try them. I’m quite and completely satisfied with their tacos, especially the Arabe and Lengua!
I still can’t find an affordable taco place in Manhattan that is equally as good (Toloache doesn’t count, it’s too pricey)!
