Palisade Food Store

I stop by here quite often. Weekdays there is a steam table with lunch specials. They make some yummy homemade type of dishes like corned beef, pasta with meatballs, sausage and peppers, ribs, pernil (pork), along with homemade beans and rice and vegetables on the side. They also have soups on the side. Their salad bar has a great antipasto and chicken bruschetta. I could eat it every day. They have good deli sandwiches. I like the La Scala– Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Roasted Peppers on a hero. They’ve also gotten in a few Portugese beverages and food items if you’re looking for these products. Another convenience they offer is they accept credit cards!
This is the type of place where you greet the owner by name and everyone asks how you’re doing. Feels like part of home. I’d rather give my money to these mom and pop type of stores than a franchise.
