I hired Sam to completely paint my apartment. The walls (one in particular) were in bad shape and were nowhere near the color I wanted them to be nor in the condition I wanted them. I found Sam’s company on a random internet search. I already had a couple of quotes from other contractors so on the day Sam was supposed to come see my co-​op I had completely forgotten about the appointment and was actually on my way home. Needless to say he came over and gave me a thorough rundown of what needed to be done. He was extremely professional and listened to all of my concerns regarding the job. After contacting a long list of references he provided who had wonderful things to say about him as well as visiting an onsite job he was currently working on I decided to go with Sam. My apartment looks AMAZING. The red, horrible, dented and marked up dining area wall is now completely transformed and is now a smooth wall with gray and ivory horizontal stripes. He replaced the boards in the linen closet which were old and horrible. The missing piece of hardwood in my living was replaced and stained to match the existing floor and most importantly, I have a PURPLE (lavender really) bedroom. Sam is extremely patient, something I lack and very easy going. I highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a contractor. In due time I will be calling him again for other projects around my apartment.
